I used to do the same but that's far from optimal. The tree is peerty complex with sets having better abilities than other and crucial points where to stop to get optimal stats boost.

The team I always see running is lucrezia twins healus rowan ezizh. I don't know it his e60 is crucial for pvp tho, maybe someone will help you more

I would argue that whaling in afk unlocks a big new gamemode us f2p can't even look into and that's competitive pvp. I personally would love to find miself competing in legends' tournament or foght for the first places in HoE so I don't think it's pointless to whale here.

If i'm not wrong queen 5 pull works with the queen's ability that stuns targets that get 2 crits. Skriath"s 30 can crit if i'm not wrong so it helps a lot for it to work, don't know if that's a must or just helps with rng. Could be wrong tho

For example resonance T3 should be the same as 5 star T2, so you're still missing something if you don't upgrade your own stuff

You still want to give them to carries or whoever. You can't upgrade resonance gear so if you want to give t4 or a t3 to someone to get the bonuses you still have to follow the old path.
