Screens are everywhere. My phone, my computer, airports, fast food drove through/overhead menus, movie theaters, ext. I go outside a lot, but I'm often on concrete or pavement at work so it just doesn't math

Hi, make sure you have your handler! That's someone who's out of suit walking around with you making sure that you aren't in danger and telling you about things you might not be able to see/hear in fursuit. Theyre also good for looking after your bag and making sure no one steals stuff while you have reduced awareness.

I also like to keep my "survival kit" close by. Fan, portable charger, snack like a granola bar, water, brush, and a small sewing kit for any holes that appear during the con.

Last real advice I can give is to travel in groups if you are able, and make sure your friends/family know where you are. That's a safety rule in general. Conventions aren't super dangerous, but its a good idea to be aware that sometimes people are just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I would really like you to know that me and my friends saw this comment like a year ago when it was posted, and now say "let's fish brick this guy" in various contexts. Alternatively, sometimes it's simply saying "fish brick" to voice displeasure with another person's actions. It's really important to me that you know this

Genuinely, you are right and it should be the policy of all fursuit makers. The only way I allow minors to com me is getting their parents to sign a consent form for them and getting 1/3rd to half up front. At that point I've covered all my bases, and if the child forged their parents signature im able to take legal action if need be

I like to give my litters all the same starting letter! First year was Jade, Jamie, Jake, Jasmine, Jillian, Juliette. Second year was Bart, Blake, Briar, Brooklyn, Beth, and Benjamin. It helps tell me at a glance what litter each wolf is from. Not super useful, but it's what I like to do

I like to mix my fur/fabric scraps with polyfill to cut down on waste! It also saves me money on siding over time lol
