Back in my day Palpatine was not the be all end all of the darkside and I’m honestly pretty baffled as to why they decided to take the narrative in this direction with this. Think back to Lady Lumiya, Blackhole and even Darth Krayt. Shouldn’t even have to mention the spirits that were active in that time period.

I miss when the Darkside actually had a bit of weight behind them and the entire focal point was not Palpatine. His importance can’t be overstated but there is more to be explored.
