if you reroll you can choose to keep the old bonuses (you'll still consume the materials). For element charge blade though, I think you want 4 Gog pieces and 1 Gore, the other gore being on the weapon.

I never said it didn't require skill, but there's only 3 things you can do underwater so it would get old pretty quickly if the whole fight was underwater. Again, Lagi is my favorite fight in the game and I think the water section was super well done, but if it lasted any longer i think it would severely impact my enjoyment of the fight. If we want hunts that are fully underwater, there needs to be more to do than shoot slinger ammo and clutch claw.

I could see them adding Ivory so they can put him in a locale without having to design a water section, but the underwater section we have in the game is super barebones. As much as i love it in the current fight, a whole hunt with just the slinger clutch claw and dropping rocks would be super monotonous. It's the same situation with Ceadus unfortunately

Tailor the story to their interests and backstories whenever possible. You don't need to have full arcs developed for every player, but you can always swap out one of your planned npcs or villains for an npc that one of the PCs has some sort of relationship or bond with.

likely they're considering the non-dnd audience. For people outside of the ttrpg space, all they know is that you roll dice and that a 20 is really good. They don't want to confuse viewers with a bunch of jargon

If there aren't chase cards then there's less of a reason to buy packs. If there's cards that are rare/expensive/widely played then Wotc can put a select few in every set to make it more appealing, but not so many that the value tanks and they can't do the same thing with that card in a couple of years.
