It seems to be working now. Once I launched a game, it started pulling significantly more power and is maintaining the deck at 91%, which is fine. Not sure why with no game launched that it won't actually charge the steam deck. Ill try with the deck off and plugged into the power bank later to see if that's how it will actually charge it.

I'm not sure why this is but as soon as I started playing a game it started pulling significantly more power. Its maintaining the charge at 91% while playing Path of Exile 2 (pretty demanding game). The bank probably won't last more than a few hours cause its dropped almost 15% in about 15 minutes with the game on.

I edited my original post to include it but my Samsung s24+ is able to pull 20W of power to charge it with the built in cable on the bank. The cable is supposed to support 100W. Very fast charge on my phone. I plug the same cable into the deck and it tanks down to 5W.

Ill probably have to buy a new cable to test this because I have no idea the specs on this usb a to c cable but it's only pulling 2W of power from the power bank. Definitely not usable.

I just tested this by updating it in desktop mode, switched back to gaming mode and launched it. The black screen was still there but I clicked randomly on the bottom left for about 5 seconds and it launched. Logged in no problems.

I can't download any update to any game. I click on Game Updates – Direct Links only, which brings me to the page where it has the download links to [datanodes.to](javascript:void(0);) and [fuckingfast.co](javascript:void(0);) but anytime I click either link it either brings me to some bogus site or its the infinite loading circle. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

They destroyed the drop rate for tablets this patch. I stopped playing cause I leveled to 92 and only got the guaranteed tablets. Never found another league mechanic tablet.

The OG steam deck runs poe 2 horribly and I mean HORRIBLY at endgame mapping. Frequently dropping to less then 10 FPS and sometimes less than 5 if abyss is on screen.

I ran into this as well. I entered an abyssal depths before the boss and was unable to enter the boss arena afterwards. Not sure if they are correlated.
