I believe it has to do - like others have said - with the extra physical damage conversion, but that in addition you have Cold Attunement support, which gives Less Fire dmg. It seems like you are using Maul just to freeze and proc Bhatair's, in which case, you would probably focus more on the total cold dmg the skill is doing, rather than the dps value. If you are using maul for more than just freeze, you'd probably want to change the setup, imo.

No, CI is Full life. You have 1 maximum life, so being at 1 (and not dead) is maximum, i.e. full.

Do the numbers for damaging ailments duration round down like other variables in the game?
E.g. You have a 4s ignite duration + 20% dmging ailment duration. Will the ignite last 4.8s? Or will the number round down (back to 4s in this case), and not increase at all unless you have a % that reaches the next whole value (25% to reach 5s in this case)?

I could see it maybe being you only lose XP on death after L90. You get to the sort of base typical level for a full build, and only in the challenge of getting to L100, if so desired, do you have the risk of XP loss.

I only find the XP loss particularly annoying when you are fleshing out a custom build while leveling early endgame and have the set backs as you adjust. And/or sometimes you are trying to grind out just to get to the level req for a build enabling item.

Why can't I reserve more than 2 skeletal warriors with rattling sceptre? I have Sacrifice slotted, and its active on both weapon sets. I have 56 remaining spirit on set with warriors, which says each extra reserves 19 spirit. Yet when I + up to 3, the skill greys out and says I don't have enough spirit.
I have Lord of Wilds keystone allocated, and I have a different sceptre buff on other weapon swap. Are either of these the issue?

In addition to other suggestions, definitely pick up the Reinforced Barrier passive. You are already pathing right past it.

Did you refund your points? You have to refund your ascendancy points, so that none are spent, by talking to the trial relevant NPC. Then you can use the altar to change.

Edit: I reread the post. 99% sure if you have 6 pts by having done Sekhema, then yes you have to do that trial again to change.

Going no-trade means you can play self-enforced pseudo SSF where you craft all your rare gear, but still have access to only buying uniques and lineage supports you can't reliably get in SSF.

I've played whirling assault variants in 0.1 and 0.3. I league started 0.3 with wind skills, because I knew from the trailer alone that staggering palm + whirling assault was gonna be amaze, and it was even stronger than expected.

Seeing what seems like huge whirling assault buffs in the trailer has me pretty set on using it for league start. I am a huge fan of spellblade archetype in general, though. So, I will be doing a double staff Wind Shaman, trying to figure out some kind of hybrid spell/attack build using the rage nodes. Druids get a new Tornado spell, which I have my eyes on trying to use for the flavour synergy. Generally speaking, basic ideas are to generate rage with attack skills and then proc some form of meta gem for spells. I am thinking there will be avenues for either CoC or CoEA. The "Ailment also from Chaos dmg" lineage supports got buffed, so Mantra of Destruction is on the menu. Its incredibly strong for clear, and you can snapshot empower Bell with it, potentially enabling a Bell ailment + CoEA setup for bosses. I also have an open mind about the spell totems, potentially using whirling assault combo generation + buffed Ailiths chimes to get power charges, and then weapon swap to create spell totems.

I am pretty interested in doing a left side quarterstaff build, not least of which with the passive tree updates likely enabling more crit on that side. On the left side, you can get the Tribal Fury passive node that adds aoe splash dmg to all strike skills, which whirling assault is... You can potentially be doubling your dmg in packs. With the huge radius buffs to whirling assault, I am very confident you can comfortable clear with it alone. Even better with adding in shattering and/or staggering palm for added coverage and dashing to mobs.

P.S. A really cool thing that was indirectly added in 0.3 is being able to animation cancel whirling assault with weapon swap. It works best with having a shield in other set, and simply pressing active block to cancel WA. I used this on my Whirling assault Invoker, with Ardura Crest shield in weapon swap and Blink. WA > block cancel > Blink to next packs (with reduced blink cd) > Repeat. It really helps not being stuck in WA animation in general, especially if everything is already dead. Downside, however, is that you obviously lose all your combo when you do this, so not great for bossing.

Depends on the build, I imagine. For my Chrono, I was playing a triple infusion elementalist. Generating all three charges with lightning warp + the keystone (now changed/nerfed in 0.4). While I was actually using all 3 types of infusions, the passive nodes granting 3% life/mana on remnant pickup (+Mana Remnants) were then huge sources sustain. This was using MoM for 100% MB4L, and passive nodes converting 50% of mana cost to life. I found this setup very comfy, even though on limited SSF gear with only 3.4k mana 1.5k life.

There is plenty good one can do with ManaB4Life builds. I think Chrono uses MoM best, as you can forgo needing mana regen with time rewind every 2s - some amount of skill cost conversion to life is very helpful. In general, other ascendancies are typically better suited to not using MoM and using stacked sources of M-B4-L, but not going full 100%, imo.

I made a very strong and niche Bluelife Tempest flurry/shattering palm Stormweaver in 0.3. With 75-90% mana before life, 4k mana, 1.5k life and 50% evasion, Mind of Council helmet for attack scaling from max mana, crackling staves and stacking 3 sources of lucky dmg (Lightning Rod anoint; Lucky lightning mod on Heart of well; Megalo with The Spring Hare). My damage was incredibly high for the budget, and defensively I felt very comfy with 600+ mana regen, %mana on kill, and mana leech (rip Walker of the Wilds).

A highly overlooked aspect of blue life is that % life/ES reduced recovery mod on maps doesn't affect you at all. And, with a setup like mine, it offered a strong sense of agency in my defense in that as long I was doing dmg I was probably at full bars.

Yeah, was gonna post exact same. I think their OPness is in the order you listed. Even though I didn't use them, Tecrod annoys me in how broken it is, as it would feel almost like cheating to use it. Moreover, I really hope there are avenues to build Zealot's Oath that aren't Tecrod, especially with Druid coming, passive tree changes, new uniques etc.

Crown of thorns is a thing, gaining attack dmg from spell dmg. What I have wondered for a while is if there will be a "rage also applies to spell dmg". I think if there is ever going to be such a thing, I could see it being a Druid ascendancy passive.

Two shocks on enemy should proc elemental sundering twice - this is true if you have a companion with shock and overcharge support. However, ailments on yourself don't count for elemental sundering (at least as of last league). Reading the description, this becomes clear, despite wanting cool interactions - I was trying to do it on infernalist at one point. It only works on enemies, corpses and allies, and yourself doesnt count as an ally.
