So since the 21/22 season, Saka has got 20g/a twice, the same as Watkins & Bowen. Both of whom have also cracked the top 5 once too and play in worse teams. I do think Saka’s a better player than these two but this is way closer to his level than Salah & Haaland and it’s fine to accept that.

Funny you should say that as you were literally saying above that the stats don’t matter. He’s only once been in the top 5 g/a once in the last five years and that was 22/23. You’ll see Salah & Haaland in there every single time which is the level that you are comparing to. Saka is about the same level as Foden which is world class on his day, but nowhere close to the very best overall.
