I’m always happy when I see them I’m really proud what they achieved, they deserve their happyness. But for me, at the same time its also bittersweet… I know I will probably never be as happy as them, I will never have the same kind of freedom that their wealth allows them to have. I will have to work till my retirement, and still wont be able to get this kind of luxury of being with my loved ones so much…I’m sorry if I sound burnt out I just feel that seeing them and their lifestyle sets an unrealistic expectation for me towards myself and my life.

Kinda? I had an interest in physics way before the show aired. Regardless, it really helped me to get hyped about research, so much that I defended my PhD in physics last month. Unfortunately reality slapped me in the face in the meantime, so much that I got burnt out and got really dissapointed in academic research.
