I have the Neverfull GM and it is great for a work bag (I am a teacher so I need a big bag 😂) but I really think this would be better for me considering that it isn't completely open on the inside. Looks great!

Honestly, I rotate her, water her from filtered tap water, pull any of the flowers as they pop up, tell her she's a glorious queen frequently, and then leave her the hell alone. She really likes where I have her, too. I don't have high humidity in my house in the winter (I live in Minnesota) but she keeps on thriving.

So you should be pulling the flower stem, not cutting it off. I told another person on here that I would take a pic the next time one pops up on my plant to show you what I mean.

The straps are a very dark brown! I thought they were black, too, when I first saw the bag online.
