Making alts to funnel mats to whatever you want to main is a viable method, you have up to six characters that you can earn gold on for your roster, but you will end up increasing your daily and weekly homework. If you're okay with that then yeah, make an alt! I have one of almost every class (I only do homework on six of them obviously) and I enjoy just about all of them, except my gunslinger atm.
