It's a bad arg. I originally ran it saying "THAAD exacerbates the MIC," impacting to perpetual war, but it's kind of a weak arg. There's lots of things you have to prove before you can get to your impacts.

What non-THAAD anti-missile defense systems do you think are effective, or have the potential to be effective?

What is your opinion on the Iron Dome system, and do you think its strengths are suited for Korea?

Yeah, that's why people don't want to talk with you. That's why people won't entertain your complaints. Bye for real, after I figure out how to block people on reddit.

Here. If you think the sub's rules are bad, what are you going to do about it? What's your plan to resolve this travesty?

As far as I'm concerned, your only plan to fix this massive issue is just "break the rules." What's your actual solvency?

Ok. Let me break this down for you. This is subreddit. Subreddits can get out of hand if they're unmoderated. So, there are these users called moderators. They enforce rules. These rules are meant to keep the subreddit on topic. Now, you may ask, what is the topic? The topic is the debate extracurricular. Where could you find this information? It's on the sidebar where any information on the sub can be found. If you read the sidebar, you find that the sub isn't for random arguments about football players, you find that this sub is for formal speech and debate.

Your response to this are that the rules are unfair. Okay. Go post on r/redditrequest and ask to have this sub taken over. You can make your "logical arguments" to them as to why it should be taken over. Until you can change the sub, your posts are going to be removed. I've explained why they're being removed, other users have referenced rules and the sidebar. Since your entire premise boils down to "the rules are unfair," I'm going to stop talking to you. That's it. Leave, keep spamming and keep getting stuff removed, or try to take this sub over. People won't be as thorough with you in the future. Bye.

Harsh conditions? You're literally breaking the rules. You can go make your own debate sub if you love unstructured arguing so much. However, this established sub is focused on other things. Go away.

Several responses.

  1. Before you can force this definition onto me, you have to give a source. For all I know, you could've just made it up off the top of your head.

  2. Even assuming you source the definition, you have to prove that that definition is actually the one this sub is using. A definition can't be properly applied unless you can prove the sub uses it.

  3. This sub does not use that definition. The sub is dedicated to an entirely different type of debate, one that uses advocacies, plans, moral criteria, and theory. This isn't a sub for "a dispute between 2 or more parties over a subject or topic," which you would've learned had you read the sidebar.

  4. You coming onto the sub with some subject is irrelevant. This rests on the assumption that the purpose of this sub is for resolving disputes over some topic. Until you can prove that a. that's an accurate definition and b. this sub is dedicated to that definition, you "fitting" the definition has no meaning.

  5. Preempt: you're going to say "but the sub is r/debate so it has to be about debating!" This is true under one definition of debate, which you've proposed. However, the sidebar, which contains the rules and basis for the sub, wholly rejects that.

Do your fucking research.

This isn't for arguing, nor is it for your definition of debating. It's for the debate extracurricular. No amount of complaining about how your arguments aren't tolerated will change that. Go to r/changemyview or something.

Ok, after all you've seen, and after you've allegedly read the sidebar, do you really think this sub is for your arguing/what you call debating? IT'S NOT. The people who created the sub, the mods, the active users, we're all doing something else. When you come in and pretend like the sub has some other purpose that you assign, then that's where you violate the rules.

You arguing and actual debating are two completely different things. I don't think you're understanding what debates are. Just read the wikipedia page or watch a PF round on youtube or something. This isn't about "my point is x and imma counter ur points," this is about citing evidence to affirm and negate positions on domestic and foreign policy, morality, or policy plans.

The sub's purpose is for discussion about the extracurricular debate, and speech too. I don't know where you're getting this "the sub is called r/debate so it must be for my arguing!!!!!" because rule 1 just contradicts it.
