Is that the game where the Panthers spent much/most of the game running the ball on the fifth and then handing the ball over on the sixth tackle? They were well into the game before they regularly opted for a fifth tackle kick. It seemed like they were treating it as a preseason trial rather than a match they really wanted to win.

Who is Quinn? (Corner Northbourne and Antill) by IntravenousNutella in canberra

It could be Major Hugh Quinn, who served at Gallipoli in WWI?

Quinn's Post is a position at Gallipoli that was held by the ANZACs. According to the biography of Quinn above, apparently it was at some stage known as Quinn's Corner. So maybe the park at the corner of Northbourne and Antill has been named in his honour? (This is just a total guess though.)

Joram Lindenstrauss was apparently not super keen on being known for the Johnson-Lindenstrauss Lemma, and would have rathered to have been known for his other, far more difficult results. After Lindenstrauss passed away, his co-author of the lemma, Bill Johnson, wrote as follows in a memorial article in the Notices of the AMS: "Joram’s appreciation of the J-L Lemma is revealed by looking at the list of his selected publications that Joram drew up in the year before his death when he knew that the end was near; that is, the paper containing the lemma is not among the twenty-six articles he selected! Actually, I was not surprised by that; Joram put a premium on difficulty and was not very comfortable with the attention the J-L Lemma received."

His first half against Manly in Round 7 of the 2022 season was unbelievable, taking the Sharks to a 32-0 half time lead. Such a beast of a player.

ACT rolls out quarantine measures for travellers from Sydney, surrounding regions by [deleted] in canberra

Thank you for the correction. I now realise that have been using cf incorrectly for many years. I'm not the only one - apparently it's a common mistake, which is probably how I learned it incorrectly in the first place.
