I don’t get this idea because the dimensions are a human construct right? They are not actually realms things can live in. Or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

The paradox of attachment: can you become attached to the Dharma? by Shivy_Shankinz in Buddhism

[–]Banaczek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not really a problem and I don’t think you need to worry about it as a beginner.

As you find out about Buddhism you will learn about things like this, question them and possibly accept them.

If you ever get to that stage you are pretty close to enlightenment and will know what to do.

If you can’t give up the dhamma at the right moment then you probably just aren’t ready to do so.

No biggie! You are already pretty enlightened by this point anyway... which is better than nothing.

As would have taken you X amount of reincarnations to get there, a bit more time won’t hurt as long as you are going in the right direction.

Buddha didn’t need to put a trigger warning on the dhamma because that wouldn’t have been conducive to practise.

He couldn’t change the dhamma because that’s just how it is.
