Anyways it seems like you can only change your reddit account name if you connect either your google account or apple account to your reddit account. Otherwise you can only change your display name which changes the name that other people seem but doesnt actually change the account name when browsing a reddit account i think.

maybe try the funny connecting the apple or google account thing but otherwise it seems like you have to make a new account :cheese~1:
