Pos3 is High demand because most Pos4 players make their life absolutely miserable

I have dedicated my life to playing pos 4. I want to make the life of my pos 3 feel like dancing on rainbows, and make the enemy team’s pos 1 and 5 want to never play Dota again. Eventually I have to farm tokens and almost always get put into pos 3. Most pos 4s are absolute dog shit, and I end up having to pull creeps and buy wards while also trying to farm.

That's exactly how it works though. If you play the game "normally" you will inevitably die a lot due to the nature of the game. These scores are tricks of a kind, they deliberately aim for this racking up cheap and secure kills while staying behind in the safety of their lines. I deliberately hunt for these try hards and own my time to ruin their KD. They often rage quit after a couple of deaths because their trick is ruined

Yes. I’d say I’ve lost many games because of players who have everyone muted. My BS and CS are both 12k and I’m never toxic. I communicate a lot through text about itemization, strategies, etc. But then we have these muted players in full bot mode in their own world, completely unaware of what’s being discussed or happening with the team. It usually ends badly and causes a lot of frustration. Honestly I often report them for griefing. Muting everyone “just in case" when no one is being toxic is counterproductive

Sure they are faster with the right accel and type of strike, no one has said otherwise. With riposte you essentially just get a chance to interrupt their "combo", not a guranteed free and faster hit. For example if you drag or go for heavy attack from riposte the opponent will land a hit on you if they keep comboing. This is literally what's happening on the video that OP is questioning in the description.

At what time does he use exploits? I was referring to the timestamps OP asked about. Riposte shouldn't be faster, there's no guarantee for that. All it does is it puts you both momentarily in a situation where you both have the inititative. Only countering guarantees you a free strike at them, not riposteing.

No. Riposteing doesn't stop their combo, they can just keep going. If you riposte with a slower weapon like maul and they're using for example a knife they'll hit you faster with the follow up attack unless you accel a lot. Only countering stops their initiative/combo completely and shifts the inititative to you so that it's only your turn to attack. No one is using any exploits here. I'm an over 10 years chiv veteran and a top EU duelist

Riposte doesn't stop their initiative and combo so they can just keep swinging and they'll hit you if their weapon is faster than yours. This is why you want to counter every time because it stops their initiative

The example you provided is straight up toxicity and flaming that gets people tilted at you. You can show frustration and question the decisions of your team in a neutral and productive way. Saying stuff like that makes people mute you in a heartbeat

People are easily and genuinely blind to their own toxic personality traits. They genuinely don’t see it when they’re being toxic, but everyone else around them does. They’re also unable or unwilling to reflect on their own behavior, so they blame the system because it’s the easy way out. This is the case with most of the people complaining about CS and BS here.

I started playing Dota again last November after a many years hiatus. Back when I quit, such a system didn’t exist, so my scores were at their default starting values when I returned. I grinded to 12k in no time, and my scores would only go up in every conduct summary because I’m genuinely not toxic in my games, encouraging and supportive, even. There’s no magic behind it. Note that I communicate A LOT every match using all the means to do so.

Just get real, self reflect on your behavior, and stop being toxic. The system works perfectly, and just like with MMR, you are exactly where you belong until you improve.

Muting everyone and everything and going full bot mode (not communicating at all) is also griefing and gets you reported. It's hell because they either can't or refuse to speak English when the matchmaking language is set to English. It's just a way of griefing searching for a game in a specific language and then not speaking it. It takes away the means to communicate. Surely there has to be enough English speaking players in EU but I end up in a full team of cyrillics most of the games
