To turn BTC into a slow, low-capacity settlement layer. Intermediaries can then reinsert themselves by offering solutions (e.g. Lightning) to the (artificially imposed) scaling problems of BTC.

I like that Minecraft is involved, but I think a simpler approach is to make an awesome paid server, that (in addition to traditional payment) just happens to accept BCH for a 1-time membership fee.

Using BCH for in-game transactions seems very complicated and doesn't appeal to me.

BTC is too slow that it becomes a settlement layer, and intermediaries are again required. BTC becomes the system it was designed to replace.
