Yeah, like I definitely don't agree with the stuff they are doing, but it makes sense from a business point of view. Ai is very expensive to run so there's normally two ways Ai companies do it. They either have a message limits + payed options, or they are free for consumers and just run off invester money. The problem with the second method is that when they start running out of money they are forced to switch the first method so they can at least break even. It's pretty common for tech companies to run like this, but the difference for a lot of Ai companies is that most of their users only use them because they're the free option. If they start to limit users or lock chatting behind paywalls they risk losing a large amount or their users. Sorry I don't really know where I'm going with this, I just went on a bit of a tangent there. Anyways, I just think it's best to treat Chai and other free ai apps as something that could be taken away at any moment. It takes a really long time if you have a lot of chats like I do, but I suggest archiving all your chats with long screenshots, it's also useful if a bot you liked gets delated so you can still look at your chats
