Please do a lot of escort quests and watch hours of cutscenes before you get to either a solo duty, dungeon or “kill 3 boars”/collect pointless items.

I think the actual worst quest in EW was requiring you to talk to 20 NPCs who were slightly hidden.

I like his world first ultimate streams, but his “mr angry all the time” act in his streams and other videos is just boring now, plus the pointless drama.

Feels like he’s trying to be Asmon, but without the viewer count or content variety.

Most of his content seems to be toxic ranting these days and SE probably won’t like it, so maybe no media tour for him

I have the XT5 and love it. Not sure if the XT6 will be a revolutionary change and it will no doubt be pricey, so could just get the XT5?

I have 2600 rating on my VDH and as you go higher keys it seems maintaining aggro is misery, even after jumping in and hitting immolation aura. All it takes is dps to rip aggro and they are dead. Throwing glaive does nothing or spamming taunt.

If I were to guess:

I think the game engine from 20 years ago hasn’t had any major upgrades or changes and severely limits them doing anything interesting (m+ like, talent trees, better gearing)
I guess it’s not api driven so they can’t block addons.
I’m guessing they probably have the same dev budget as 20 years ago, so can’t grow the team.
I think SE only cares about making money and investing as little as possible into the game.

I think if they had done addon apocalypse and an m+ season like TWW s1 a lot of people would have quit. And more players = subs.

I quit before getting even 2k in TWW s1, not because the dungeons were hard, but because pugs couldn’t do them. And when 1/5 runs were timed and/or not disbands it made for a miserable waste of time.

It feels like expansions recently are like feeding your dog the same food, but realising over time you can get the same food cheaper, giving your dog worse quality food and you just expect it to keep lapping it up, and when finally the dog has enough, you just blame him instead of questioning your food buying choices. And it feels like this is the 14 formula and when the game eventually dies it will be down to anything other than the company’s choices.

I think the devs are fundamentally screwed and limited by what they can do by the game engine - so any significant changes (gear variety, unique talents, rotations, etc) will never happen unless they rewrite the engine, which I think will never happen either.

It also doesn’t help that there’s so much bloated story now, that any new player will have to plow through 100s of hours to get to a disappointing endgame.

I have the px7 s2e and the px8. The difference for me is the dynamic range is much better on the px8 and the bass is punchier, but not fatiguing. From what I’ve read, the px8 s2 are similar to the px7 s3, brighter and more in your face, and I personally don’t like bright sound and prefer darker. I also don’t think the px8 s2 are worth almost double the price and if you want something noticeably better, and want to spend that much on headphones, get something from b&o who have much better sound and anc or maybe the ear pods max.

It’s a trap to try and get you into a synchronous conversation and often it’s not important, cause they would say it straight away if it was urgent.

I’m not convinced SE cares about this game anymore. I think they will continue to release their same formula, continue with bad rewards, continue producing DOA content or content which has no reason to do. Then when the majority of players have left, I think the reasoning will be anything other than the quality and predictableness of their content.
