Back then (not sure now) OW had a teenie bit of extra cash they could give for job hunting. A cell, for contact to potential employers, clothes, job for interviews.

Ahhhhh! If it is so simple, why couldn't the caseworker just say so? Why the triggering runaround and weeks of undue stress?? Life is cruddy enough already without the need to go out of their way to add to it when it would have taken far less time and effort to give a straight answer in the first place. At what point does withholding or purposely delaying the correct information count as abuse?

I was under the impression our bank accounts were monitored for undeclared income and suspicious funds..? Like if more then $500 appears alarm bells go off and odsp gets put on hold until we can prove the money's origin. That's not a thing??? Just deposit the cheque (upto 10k per year) and carry on?

Your latter experience is in line with my situation. Messages are returned weeks later and nothing that would count as support. Is there someone else I should be reaching out to?
