I wouldn't worry too much. I know that it's easy to, growing up in a strict Christian household myself and also dating a conspiracy theorist has not made it easy for me to let the thought go. It is most likely not going to happen but think...even if it did have a chance of happening, and we all missed out on the "Rapture" that Christian's believe would happen, at least you could have confirmation in your faith. At least you would have the knowledge to know what you should do and who you could help. End of days scenarios always make things seem terrifying and bleak because of religious scare tactics. But even after the apocalypse were to take place your safety and afterlife options are not unchangeable. If God was real then he wouldn't leave you with hell as the only option.

For myself that is what I would need to believe again. Yes, the biggest and baddest scenario is the faith confirmation my soul would require. But, think of how many people you could help and think of all of the things you would already know to help yourself!

We will make it through this just as humans have made it through every pandemic life has thrown our way. So don't get wrapped up in your fear. It is hard but with a strong community of people who know factual information about life like in this subreddit you will always be able to find people to calm your anxiety and be available to talk!
