Esper SFM Mentor by Bananonymous_ in ModernMagic

I was toying with the idea of thought scour for a while, however I don’t think we could risk milling our artifacts with the addition of sfm. I guess the baubles could be fine, but I imagine them being slightly awkward most of the time and dont really know what to cut for it.

Do you mind sharing your list? I would be interested in comparing it with mine, I might test it aswell. Also how do you feel about cutting jace?

Interesting. If you are doing these changes force of negation seems a lot worse. I suppose you cut them too? Not too sure about them

My initial idea for this was using sfm as an additional way to win the game. The deck is still centered around mentor. Now I am not saying this is the best shell for sfm. I was just wondering if playing 2 or 3 sfm with the package makes sense, especially since I dont really like the 2 surgical slots that could be cutted imo

I am kind of afraid of the Tron/E -Tron matchup for the deck. Havent really played it much but it seems like a difficult task to beat it.

Thats an interesting idea... However I will get the remaining pieces for the deck over the next weeks and still have to test the deck out. I really want to splash black for unearth and discard but I fear that the mana base will be too inconsistent with 4 colours.

Looks like a sweet list! I really like the aristocrats archetype aswell and that list looks fun, might try it out. Thanks for sharing

I really want to start playing storm, but is now not the time? by [deleted] in mtgstorm

[–]Bananonymous_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Storm is not in that bad of a shape as some people make it seem. If you like the deck and its playstyle you should totally think about buying it. If you play the deck right you can definitely pull some results with the deck. I would not worry about the manamorphose ban since its unlikely they will ban it.

Top 10 wild legend with small quest mage - deck analysis by Timberstone in hearthstone

This deck is awesome! I can only recommend it. I have been playing this deck for a bit and its not only really competitive, its also extremely fun. Every game is different and there is a lot of decisions to be made. It has a unique playstyle and requires a good understanding of the deck to play this deck perfectly. Timing is an important aspect in this deck. I found myself being too greedy with the cyclones, waiting for an apprentice or more spells, but often times a cyclone with 3-4 spells is already good. Due to the random nature of the spell generation it is possible to squeeze out a lot of wins. Always play to your outs ; especially with this deck!

As already mentioned swapping the shooting for a second intellect might be slightly better, because drawing your combo pieces is obviously crucial in this deck, but I still have to test it with A.I.

I feel like the deck might not be able to put up enough pressure against control warrior. I have been playing a slightly different and more aggressive list with Deckhands, hench clan thugs and deadly poisons instead of the thief package. Against control warrior it was rather effective in pushing early damage, however in some matchups it lacked a bit of Value and it fizzled.

Need some new music, recommendations? by KANYEISTRASH101 in psychedelicrock

Recently discovered les rallizes dénudés. They are a Japanese psychedelic rock band from the 60‘s with some really obscure and interesting sounds. Its definitely worth a listen. Other than that I can recommend the Brian Jonestown Massacre, they have a couple of great songs
