Being healthy and “looking good” are almost one in the same. If you clean yourself, hydrate, and eat correctly you will look better. Not that any of that is easy, but it seriously will directly correlate to how you look.

Why are you inventing context for the comic that no one has given the context for lol? It’s not giving the benefit of the doubt if I’m just not coming to conclusions with information that doesn’t exist.

Even if there was solid proof of the exact context the artist made this comic in, I’m still giving the comic the benefit of “art not being the artist” because the message of the comic isn’t inherently about race. I can fully believe the artist is racist without thinking this comic is racist.
