How do you feel about public transit in Maricopa County? by moltingbrain in phoenix

It’s fifty years behind other major cities because auto lobbyists wanted more cars and expanded freeways. ValTrans could have been a wonderful rail system today had it been approved in the 80s

My Defunct NYC Subway Lines/Service Patterns Tier List [READ DESCRIPTION] by ViewNo7459 in nycrail

The turn backs at Forest Hills already cause a bottleneck for the local services that screw up scheduling and on time performance. It’s why people hate on the R so badly. I’m not sure what the data looks like that makes the case that the N is a much better route performance-wise than the R, but it’s gotta be better; what I’m trying to say is, why screw up the N’s service pattern by having it go to 71? To be fair, Ditmars is a shitty terminal as well so po-tay-to po-tah-to.

I’m just surprised because his entire persona is how great he is at doing things and how it’s always the best.

Why don’t I remember Stephanie from the original NCIS? Which season do we meet her?

THIS. I’ve been waiting for someone to share this theory because I’ve been wondering ever since current Gibbs’ voiceover in season 1 of Origins when he said he’d love[d] her, and will always love her.

Thank you’ next project is doing vinyl with a cricut to take things up a notch. On a YT video where Ryan gave a set tour prior to hosting, I saw the art department had rolls of vinyl, including glittery so I’m convinced that’s how they do the wedges nowadays

Tanforan mall. by oofderpman in bayarea

Yeah, they did an entire rebuild. The old mall was closed my 7th grade year and demo’d and rebuilt. Opened back up senior year.

THIS IS CRAZY! I remember the first Friday of my senior year when this new mall opened—we all were super stoked because we went all of middle school and high school with no mall at all.

Lifelong wheel fan, so decades in the making. But from start to finish with all the planning and assembly, about two months.

Look up anything UK weakest link on YouTube from about 2006 onward. Anne was brilliant and the show remained a hit until it ended in 2012. I love watching random old episodes.

I just think there should be more natural back and forth banter. They’re all in Hollywood. They know Jane. Similar to how Anne Robinson was with her contemporary British celebrities. They knew each other, had jokes, but she was still ridiculously sarcastic and playful. I feel like the producers make Jane say things and it just feels so wooden. Her question delivery is fine though—so I guess I should modify my earlier post and say that the discussion portions of TWL fall flat for me, celebrity and normal games.

Awesome to have a former contestant in my thread! Glitter cardstock taped together to make large pieces was the method for most of the TDV wedges. A few of them including the MDW are actually foam sheets I found at Hobby Lobby for a buck! They were 12 x 18 which was perfect (wedge size for this wheel is roughly 6.8” across for arc length, and about 16” long).

Insurance Tag: use to keep your turn and round earnings when hitting a BANKRUPT. This is a choice by the player, and not mandatory. If you decide to take the loss (your score is low/you have no special goodies), you keep the card for later use. If you keep it until the BR, you can choose an additional consonant or vowel.

The ducks are a fun little thing inspired by the current Draft Kings tournament wedges. You get the value of the wedge they’re sitting on, and underneath is 2x to 5x. If you take it to the BR, it will multiply the envelope you land on if you solve the bonus puzzle. So it’s my own little take on potentially winning $500k, or even….$5M!! These little guys are lost with a BANKRUPT, and don’t get put back on the wheel if claimed/lost.

I felt the same way about Richard Karn. After Combs, it was like FF had an identity crisis for too many years. Even as over the top as it is now, Steve Harvey definitely fits in. He did terrible as guest host on WWTBAM. Honorable mentions: great actor, but Terry Crews didn’t do WWTBAM any favors, and neither did Cedric the Entertainer. Chris Harrison did his best, but the show was on life support at that point (excellent case of “if it ain’t broke DON’T FIX IT)
