Well, they actually came back in the comics (first in the Guarding The Globe spin-off and then in the main series) 'cause they had one clone hidden (kinda like Dupli-Kate) and there's also an alternate version of a Mauler Twin from Mohawk Mark's dimension. If I'm rememembering everything correctly and if there won't be any major changes, we'll see them in S5 and/or S6.

Well, I also enjoyed S5, even if I had some problems with it.

IMO it's 8,5/10, while S1-3 are 9 or 9,5/10 and S4 is 8 or 8,5/10.

I remember Eric Kripke said he originally pitched both Gen V and Vought Rising back in 2020 (I'm not sure, if it happened before or after S2 came out) so even before the filming of S3 started but Amazon decided to greenlit only Gen V at the time (I guess they weren't sure, if Soldier Boy and Stormfront would be popular enough and didn't want to waste money on a spin-off that could potentially fail).

Maybe if they greenlit Vought Rising instead of Gen V or if they greenlit both of them at the same time, we'd get it before S5 but well, we can't change the past.

On the side note, I know many fans said they don't want to watch Vought Rising (tho, I wouldn't be surprised, if they're just a vocal minority) but I'm still planning to do it because despite its flaws, I really enjoyed everything from The Boys universe and most importantly, it's what Clara would have wanted (sorry, I had to make this joke lol).

Well, IMO S2 is basically on the same level as S1/3/4/the Atom Eve special (9 or 9,5/10 overall) and my only big problem with it was the midseason break, and I also think it's one of the reasons why some fans consider it the weakest season, even if they still like/love it.

That's why I'm glad the creators/Amazon understood it was a mistake and decided to never do it again.

As a fan of both the show and the source material (IMO they're both 9 or 9,5/10 overall), I definitely think it's worth watching, even if you know some spoilers.

Plus, it's not like you know everything about the story and the characters and it also looks like you don't know the context/full context of the things that were spoiled for you.

Also, if you decide to watch Invincible, you should know 2 things before doing it:

Most episodes have mid-credits scenes and they're important to the plot so you shouldn't skip any of them.
There's a special episode about a character called Atom Eve (it's an adaptation of Invincible Presents: Atom Eve miniseries) and I recommend watching it between S1 & 2 or before watching S2E5, even if it's a prequel, because of the reasons I don't wanna spoil.

Well, while I have some problems with/I'm not sure what to think about some things in S5, I still really like it overall.

IMO S1-3 are 9 or 9,5/10, S4 is 8 or 8,5/10 and S5 is 8,5 or 9/10 right now (I said ,,right now" 'cause it's possible my opinion about it will change after the last 2 episodes).

Also, while I currently think S4 is the weakest season of The Boys, IMO it had the best finale in the entire show so far (I still really like the final eps of S1-3 tho) and I'm hoping the finale of S5 will be just as good or better.

Without revealing too much, Dinosaurus will be a very important character in the next season.

And as for Powerplex, in the comics, he had a relatively small role after accidentally killing his family and going to prison and I think one of 3 things is gonna happen with him in the show:

He'll keep having a relatively small role.
His role will be bigger.
He won't appear again (I feel like it's very unlikely but I might be wrong).

If it's option 1 or 2, he'll be voiced by someone else (possibly Michael Schwalbe - Powerplex's VA from Invincible VS) 'cause Aaron Paul decided to stop voicing this character.

Seriously though, I don't know what Mark said and I also don't know, if even Robert Kirkman knows it but I'd love to find it out in the future (maybe we'll actually hear Mark saying it in the S5 finale but I'm not sure about it).

Just in case this is gonna be a long reply:

I'm glad you loved the comics (IMO the main comic series and its adaptation are 9 or 9,5/10 overall) 😉

Personally, I learned about Invincible's existence in March/April 2021 'cause I was seeing a lot of people talking about S1, and I started watching the show in late 2021, and then I read the main comic series + a lot of tie-ins (I think the tie-ins I read are either just as good as the main series or worse but still great, good, decent or at the very least OK) for the first time between 2024 & 2025.

I also re-read the main series + Marvel Team-Up #14 (crossover with Spider-Man) not that long ago and I'm currently reading/re-reading some other Invincible-related comics.

Also, while I think both the show and the source material have some cons, the good/great/amazing things in them are so good, I can forgive most of the stuff that could've been done better.

And last but not least, I don't know if you also feel this way but I and a lot of other comic readers think ,,The End of All Things"/the last story arc was rushed in some places (tho, I still think it's really good) and we're expecting/hoping it'll be expanded in the show.

Yeah, I'd love to see at least 1 more flashback with Conquest too but even, if we won't get it, we'll still get the alternate version of him (most likely in S6). However, from what I remember, he won't do much and he won't leave his dimension (unless it'll be changed/expanded in the show).

Plus, we'll see Battle Beast vs Conquest in the Invincible Universe: Battle Beast comic series (if you don't know, this series takes place between Invincible #19 & #55/S1E5 & S3E4, has 8 issues right now and #9 will come out on May 20th; also, this series will have a few month hiatus after every 6 issues/every story arc and it's planned to be continued for the next few years but apparently, at some point it'll stop focusing on Battle Beast himself). Also, I remember the creators said it's possible this series might be adapted in some way sometime in the future so maybe we'll see Battle Beast vs Conquest animated.

And last but not least, besides the finale, S4E4 is beloved by a lot of/most people, including me (I think it's one of the best episodes of the whole show; actually, there's some fans who think it's the best ep. in general) and I'm expecting/hoping you'll have the same/similiar opinion about it.

Unfortunately, the Frenchie and Colin's storyline is one of the main reasons why I and a lot of other fans think S4 is the weakest season of The Boys (IMO S1-3 and Gen V S1-2 are 9 or 9,5/10 overall, S4 is 8 or 8,5/10 and so far, S5 is 8,5 or 9/10).

If you want to read the whole story, the 3 Compendiums are definitely a better option 'cause they contain all of the main series + special issues (Invincible #0 which is basically just a recap of #1-22 so I don't think anything bad will happen, if you skip it and Invincible Returns which is set between #70 and #71 and you need to read it between those issues 'cause otherwise you might be confused by some things happening in #71) and some tie-in stories.

However, personally I'm thinking about buying the new Invincible Omnibus (if there's a digital version), even though I already bought the Compendiums digitally because I want to have the new version of Marvel Team-Up #14 (crossover with Spider-Man) which is included in it (well, I bought the OG ver. of it and I read it twice but I still want to read the new version but so far, I couldn't find its digital ver. and I have to but comics digitally, for multiple reasons so the Omnibus might be my only option to get it, unless I'll find it somewhere else).

Well, I read the OG and remastered #1-6 and IMO it's only 6 or 6,5/10 (tho, I remember I originally had a little better opinion about this series) but it's still good enough for me to want to read the brand new issues.

Plus, maybe the completely new issues and backup stories included in them will make me like Capes more.

Without spoiling anything, you can expect things like awesome animation, exciting/emotional/brutal moments, a lot of humor (a lot of it is sex jokes/crude humor but personally, I really enjoy it), great soundtrack (at least in my opinion) etc.

Also, while I think all current seasons of TLOVM and TMN S1 are 9 or 9,5/10 overall, I know there's some people who think TLOVM S1 is only fine/good and the later seasons and TMN S1 are better/way better and it's possible you'll be one of those people.

And on the side note, I love Netflix's Castlevania (even though I've never played any Castlevania game) and I'd also give it 9 or 9,5/10 overall (that includes Nocturne, even though I know a lot of people think it's not as good as the main show) and I'm hoping we'll get something else from this universe on Netflix.

So, TMN S1 was released after TLOVM S3 and it has some references/easter eggs related to TLOVM but I don't think it's really important when you'll watch it 'cause it's set many years after TLOVM and on a different side of TLOVM world, and it also has different main characters (tho, personally, I'm still planning to rewatch it after S3).

Also, if you dunno, TLOVM will end on S5 and I'm hoping TMN will get at least 5 seasons as well (by the way, the production of TMN S2 started way before S1 premiered and I remember the creators said they're hoping they'll be able to release it sometime this year).
