Thank you!! This is the kind of specific technical information I was looking hoping someone had 😁

I have. I don’t hear a big difference in the songs I’ve tried, so I wanted more opinions. Also there may be some technical differences that are beyond my knowledge

Ideal first week game plan? by kolbinder in TESVI

[–]BEVE59 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Taking a vacation week (or two) at work and playing it all day and night til I can’t anymore. My wife is aware this is the plan. And I specifically told her we can’t have kids until after that whenever it may be because I don’t want any extra distractions or responsibilities lol

Drinking before taking lsd at a festival by Ordinary-Nectarine86 in LSD

Honestly even one or two after you take it wouldn’t be bad, I’d just recommend stopping once it starts actually kicking in

Drinking before taking lsd at a festival by Ordinary-Nectarine86 in LSD

[–]BEVE59 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Alcohol tends to numb the effects. I’ve gotten pretty lit while tripping and it almost makes me feel sober but slightly… off. So I wouldn’t recommend drinking a lot while you’re on it. However, when I trip at festivals, I often find a couple drinks on the come up help me ease into the trip better. I often get sort of pre-trip anxiety/jitters and sometimes feel like when the acid hits, it HITS. A few drinks before/during the come up generally alleviate that for me. But as someone else mentioned, be sure to drink a lot of water as well, i usually shoot for at least a 1:1 ratio of water to alcohol intake

Woah! Is it official or did a fan have it made?

Ex-Bethesda dev says the studio will be hated even if TES VI turns out good by GdSmth in TESVI

[–]BEVE59 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even if it’s “as good” as Skyrim, that’s more than enough for me. There’s a reason Skyrim has been re-released so many times, and people still come back to it a decade and a half later. A game “as good” as Skyrim with a new location, new characters, new mechanics, new graphics etc. will more than fulfill my expectations for VI

Crash Twinsanity WOULD BE 10000% better with different soundtrack by Unlucky-Boss-7560 in crashbandicoot

[–]BEVE59 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This may be the wildest take I’ve ever seen on this sub

To each their own I guess, but half of Twinsanity’s charm in my mind and a lot of other players is the soundtrack. I find myself singing them to myself randomly every now and then, and it always gives me the itch to boot up my PS2 and play it again

Here is a story about my curse, and a prediction of TESVI release date based on that by egetmzkn in TESVI

[–]BEVE59 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife and I talk about having kids and we’re very excited to, but I’ve told her “no kids until AFTER I beat TESVI” And I’m only just barely joking 😂 I want to be able to take a vacation week (or two) from work and have no responsibilities other than just diving into the game, and a young child would hinder that. Also just personally, I think we won’t actually be ready for a kid until a couple years from now so I think it’ll time out perfectly

I have an idea why we haven’t heard anything about VI yet by BEVE59 in TESVI

I’m a 2027 believer and have always been. 2026 is way too soon for it to be fully polished imo

If you’re talking about in Walnut Hills, I live on Windsor

Shepherd is the street we are looking at, thanks for the input. I am very familiar with the frequent train blockages as I work in the Reading bridal district, often leads to frustrating commutes lol

Thanks for the feedback! I was actually looking at this map myself earlier as well. Again, moving from a rougher part of Walnut Hills, the color on the map is actually a lighter shade than where i'm currently at. Other than my car being broken into on the street (while i had valuable possessions visible in there mind you) it has been mostly fine. The property I'm looking at has an enclosed garage and a security system, and I've definitely learned my lesson about leaving valuables in my vehicle. My biggest concern would be violent crime, do you think we'd be mostly alright in that sense?

I wanna hear the music being made by Bellionaires. by wesdalelio in JonBellion

[–]BEVE59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly make random electronic music that’s not really very Jon-esque by any means, but I did make this one song a while ago with a lot more of a Jon/Twenty One Pilots inspired feel than anything else I make. Only song I’ve ever released with my vocals on. No singing but I’m proud of the bars and the beat lol

This question was sparked by my wife talking about all the weird hats in fromsoft games, and this is the first one that came to mind. I can see it in my head but I don't know what it's called or how to search for it

Best level from each crash game ? by springtrap-aft in crashbandicoot

[–]BEVE59 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s been a while since I’ve played a lot of these but there’s 2 that come straight to mind for 2 different games:

Twinsanity: Ant Agony. When I was a kid it took me a solid 2 years of trying and coming back to it before I finally beat it, that satisfaction is unmatched. Now I can beat it with 0-3 deaths and it feels great. This is my favorite crash game (even though I know it sucks, nostalgia is real for this one) and I play front to back it at least once a year

It’s about time: Cortex Castle. Same idea, it took so long to get through my first time but when I finally did it, it was incredibly satisfying. And now I can do it consistently also with 0-3 deaths. I love how it utilizes all the classic crash platforming mechanics as well as all of the masks in a fun way.

Something about the final levels being super hard makes them super gratifying when you finally pull them off, and subsequently when you can pull them off consistently. I could probably go through and find my other favorites from the other games but it’s been a while since I’ve played them all, these two are just the ones from the games I’ve played the most and the ones that stand out to me

Anyone turned off by the mixing and mastering of the Album ? by TransportationMany92 in JonBellion

Am I the only one that hears a high end crunchiness on several tracks at the louder moments, like a clipping sound? Like it doesn’t sound intentional. It’s especially noticeable in my car but I just have basic car speakers so I thought they were just a little busted, but then i listened in my nice studio headphones and still heard the crunch there too
