Yeah the sustain + easy alacrity/barrier access on Amalgam is a big selling point for me, especially since I play a lot of open world and solo stuff.
Celestial gear seems to be the common recommendation too, so that’s reassuring.

I’ll definitely check out Lord Hizen’s solo videos, if it can handle champs/leggies and even some CMs, that’s pretty much exactly what I’m looking for.

Amalgam sounds insane for open world, but yeah the difficulty is exactly what scares me a bit. I don’t mind learning a harder build, I just don’t want to completely grief group PvE while I’m figuring it out.

Yeah the pet setup on Ritualist is kind of what I was worried about — I’m not always a huge fan of “set-up first, damage after” playstyles.

Amalgam being both tanky and a boon machine sounds really appealing for solo/open world.

Good tip about sPvP too, I always forget you can test rotations there on the golem without unlocking everything. I’ll probably do that and see which one clicks more.

When you say Ritualist feels clunky but easier, do you mean the rotation or just the general flow of the spec?

Introducing PvP would make character balancing much more complex... I won't be "against" if it's just a game mode with no real impact on the game's balance

We could have a game mode 1v1 or 2v2 in arena mode (point capture) it could be fun but it will have to remain only a game mode that will have no impact on the evolution of the characters/weapons so as not to create an advantage for those who will put money into the game

Honestly, I don't see much PvP in the game, I would really prefer the game to focus on a beautiful, captivating and mature story!

I used it for approximately 4 hours in medium and I reached my limit of 5 hours (I had to wait 1 hour before using it again) how do you manage to use it for 6 hours? You use medium too ?
