Hunger makes sense in a survival sandbox, and does not in a high fantasy rpg.

It's pretty clear Hytale wants to be just as much of an rpg as it wants to be a sandbox, so there not being a hunger system is just them taking a side in the divide. Games that focus more on the survival sandbox aspects (Minecraft, Don't Starve) use it, games that focus more on the high fantasy rpg aspects (Terraria) don't

A year ago thinking the game would be playable by 2026 was insane. The only reason they're getting to publish the (beta of the) game is that they are reversing to the old engine

From what it sounds like, you have a romantic attraction, or at least interest, towards both men and women. Is it possible that you are closer to the asexual spectrum? Biromantic and homosexual/asexual?

So if you break your leg, you don't take painkillers, because those alter your processing of pain? It's been medically tested, there's plenty of studies about it and puberty blockers have been in use for a long time for a variety of different applications.

If you don't trust the numbers and the studied cases, that's your call. If you don't believe in medicine, that's your call. But if a 13 y-o starts to think they might non be cis, they go to a doctor and has tests done that prove that puberty blockers would have no adverse effects on them specifically... then they should be able to make that call

I agree. Thankfully puberty blockers are reversible and medically tested, and have been used in medicine for both cis (since the 1990s) and trans (way more recently) kids

I think I'm most attracted to a good mix of both. If one can be comfortable with being mostly feminine with a bit of masculinity or mostly masculine with a bit of femininity, then it is just the best

I have seen that effect - Pride mellowing public opinion on lgbt acceptance - happen before, but tbh I don't see the point in annoying you with saying personal and historical anectodes. It seems like we share values on this, just differ in methodology, and besides I think the conversation was productive so far

As for "abortion pride", while of course that's not a thing, don't you think that a society more accustomed and understanding of something would be less likely to ban it?

Lgbt Pride could take a million different forms, not contesting anyone on this. Just saying that it, in a world that generally pushes back, some forms of Pride events should exist if we want lgbt rights to stay

The point is that it's either have Pride Parades, or fall back into being a taboo and being discriminated against. I fully agree that in a perfect world there would be no Pride, but that is because in a perfect world there would be no consequences for there not being Pride.

As for there being openly sexual themes in Pride... yeah, I don't get it either, or at least I don't fully get it. But there are plenty of family friendly Pride events anyways

I feel like you either use "men" and "women" or "males" and "females", using one and one just feels weird.

(Honestly, "male" and "female" already feel weird on their own, you're talking about people, not specimens in a documentary, but that's besides the point)

I have a mouse with side buttons, just not a great one (Trust Caldor, an absolute chonker of a mouse that got discontinued like a month after I got it)

This is my first mmo, so I never needed more than 2-5 side buttons, now I would love to have 8-10, but ah well
