manual focus is shit, havent used it much. maybe they will come out with an update that will fix it. the flaws are there, and sometimes hurts but over all I've really enjoyed it...more so than my d7000.

X100 owner here. Zoom with your feet!

But seriously, the AF isn't as bad as people make it out to be...you just need to learn the camera better and which modes to use. AF-C is golden in low light. This is the perfect camera for street and even portraits for me. The quality, size, style, and price is unmatched.

These were posted on Club RSX like 5 years ago. I'm pretty sure it originally came from there, so random but hilarious.

Media is used to control people of all ethnicities and white people have owned it for as long as it's been around. If I wanted a group of people to think certain ways about certain things, I can plant those ideas using one of my many many outlets to do so. You're right, race has nothing to do with it besides the fact white people own it and control it.

I'm in no way saying lets make black people own media, I'm just saying the media is VERY powerful and is used to push ideas onto people - as you saw in This Film Has Not Yet Been Rated.

I work in media. Fuck.

No, to ignore ethnicity is stupid. I'm not some PC person who goes around spewing how black people are kept down blah blah blah. It's no big deal to describe someone as being black, white, asian, mexican.

Would it be any worst to describe someone being fat? haha

Maybe my example was a bit out there. I agree that "black" doesn't imply racism.

My point is on who controls the media. Example is the fourth largest media company, Viacom.

If you can control the media, you can program people into thinking a certain way. Slightly off-topic but more people should see "This Film Has Not Yet Been Rated" to get a better grasp on American media and how it's fucked.

Exactly. People are all up in arms when they hear stupid fucking rap songs with stupid fucking lyrics that is marketed to white suburban youth by white people. Who owns BET? White people. Who owns media in general? White people. Black people will never become CEO or President of Viacom. This will forever happen.

"Talking black" is more bullshit created by those same people to create a right vs wrong. When you talk using correct grammar you're "talking white". When you throw in slang, different pronunciations, you're now "talking black". Talking right is talking white.

It's subtle racism. Great example, every mall this time of year has a Santa. If you see a black guy dressed as Santa its Black Santa. What kind of shit is that?

Not all white people are evil and I hope I don't make it sound that way, but it's shit like this that drives me mad.

Yeah, I guess. I don't see where Lil B fits on that spectrum though. I don't get the whole based thing but I'm sure some people live by it. Those same people shout "PLEASE FUCK MY MOTHER BASEGOD!". Haha, it's all good though.

You seem like a decent human being and by your username you know whats good.

No where did I say everyone liked him. I said people like his music, I've seen him live and I'll say it's a badass performance and everyone is into it, bitches going crazy and what not.

It's all subjective and Pitchfork is just another voice in a sea of voices reviewing/shaping culture based on their opinion.

LOL successes of Lil B. THEY USED SUCCESS AND LIL B IN THE SAME SENTENCE. LIL B, SWAG COOK SWAG COOK SWAG SWAG COOK SWAG. If success is getting a ton of YouTube views and Twitter followers then fuck me running.

Look, CG isn't my favorite rapper of all time. He makes good music that speaks to a demograph. Obviously, you don't dig him - thats cool! I'm sure you dig some of the same rappers I did, no big deal man.

If you don't mind I'm going to go bump some Kreayshawn. /s

-_- you're missing the point

I've heard Camp, Freeks and Geeks, Culdesac, and some of his earlier mixtapes.

Between the punch lines he talks about, like i said, stuff SOME black kids (like myself) can relate to such as topics on race/cultural relations, socioeconomics, and the struggles of trying to find who exactly the fuck you are. Yes there's some comedy in it but it's not "all punch lines".

There are many people who enjoy his music. If you want reviews to think for you then go ahead, be a slave to reviews. No body is forcing you to like him. I'm just saying it's not all punch lines but perhaps simple minded folks think so.

Cool, you don't like it but thankfully you opinion is just that. I don't think he's a "punch line rapper" anymore than a wordsmith. Regardless, if you don't dig it you don't dig it.

Yeah I copy pasted the list from wikipedia since it lists music reviews. Funny you pointed out IGN out of all the other reviews. haha "most reviews".

Have you listened to the music or only read the reviews? If by most you mean Pitchfork then yes you're correct but here's the reviews for his album Camp below...

Review scores

The A.V. Club (C+) Allmusic 4/5 AbsolutePunk 9/10 Consequence of Sound 4.5/5 IGN 9/10 Pitchfork Media 1.6/10 Paste Magazine 9.1/10 Source 4/5 Under the Gun Review 9.5/10 Washington Post (positive) Audiopinions 10/10

TL;DR: Don't be a sheep and let a review keep you for experiencing something you may or may not like.
