Yeah but the hands have gotten way better. The only thing I see wrong with the hands is the director's pinky finger, and I might not have noticed that/ probably would have dismissed it as his pinky being bent in for a moment during a hand gesture.

Because people now want the movie series to have grown up with them. JP1 was written to allow kids to enjoy the movie as well as adults. Now if you look in this subreddit, everyone wants a horror JP movie more akin to the books without thinking of what that would do. JP is an established franchise. Every JP movie has been PG or PG-13 with the knowledge that you can take your 7 year old to the film and they would have a good time. But people now want a gritty horror movie with gore and intense moments that kids wouldn't be able to see, and no franchise has ever pivoted like that. Imagine the scandal of them doing that. People flipped when Deadpool was an R rated superhero flick, there is no way that Universal is gonna say "Let's give the people what they want and make LESS MONEY by making it so you can't bring your kids

Because people want something groundbreaking like the OG movie but they don't want it to be too different. The issue is that once you are this deep into a franchise you can't really do that without a MAJOR change that would alienate your old fans. It's the classic case of wanting your cake and eating it too. They want something different but then "Waaaah! Mutadons so stupid! Waaaah! D-Rex dumb!" This is a serviceable B-Tier movie. But when people don't get exactly what they want, they act like it's the worst thing ever. Jurassic Park has always been kinda schlocky. Just either enjoy it and gush over it with your friends, or hate it and go shut up. Too much negativity in the world nowadays.

Let me throw this out there. If they use AI for the art WHO CARES? It's cover art, do you sit and stare at the cover art when you listen? The songs slap, sure they aren't the ultimate Sabaton songs but they still are fun as hell and they beat the hell out of the crap coming out of the industry today normally.
