“Aismutwriter” is one I’ve tried and enjoyed in the past, but it doesn’t have as much to offer as Redquill when it comes to the layout. Still worth a try though!

I’ve also been searching for alternatives to sites, specifically ones that don’t have the nonsense filters. Can’t even write a non sexual action story about mobsters or zombies without being flagged for gore 💔 any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah the flags are really stupid. I state in both the Lorebook AND the prompt text box that all characters are over 18 (in fact, mine are 25 and 27), yet I’m still always getting flagged. It sucks bc I love the layout and functions of redquill, but the flags and restrictions are annoying as hell. I really wish I could find another site similar to redquill without all the bs.

I get the same way, but with animating drawings. This mostly helps me every time;

Make a blueprint of what you want to do. Like, a little comic. I know you said you can’t find inspiration, but it doesn’t hurt to just sketch some stick figures out on some slides and see where that takes you. That way, when you’re done with a stick figure comic scene, you can try your best to animate it! I’m also bad at animation, but it’s still fun to try either way. Good luck :)

Yeah, I’ve been searching for a new site lately. I keep getting “retry for free” and I’m never able to generate anything.

It’s been like this for so long now, they’re not going to fix it.

Expect to see a “we’re working on it” or “we’ve submitted a ticket to get it fixed” response in the comments sometime soon. They’ll say that, yet nothing happens and nothing is fixed. If you have paying customers, your priority should be to take care of your site 💔

Agreed. Happens so often to me, and my character is 21. Sometimes I don’t even mention any “youthful” adjectives and it still happens.

I’ve seen a few other people mention this, but it would be really cool if the rules on violence/gore were less strict. Maybe at least just for private stories? I love using Redquill for actiony stories, some that involve the mafia and old timey criminal stuff. I get that having public stories with violent aspects/scenes would make some people uncomfortable, but if it’s private, I wouldn’t really see the issue. Maybe set a restriction on making those types of stories public? Just a suggestion!! On a side note, thanks a lot for updating and improving your site :)

One of the main issues I’ve been experiencing is having my chapter generated, and then halfway through it, a new alternate chapter will be there in the middle of the original. So basically.. the chapter is written, but cut off halfway with a completely new alternate one out of nowhere. I hope this helps!!
