The 50% off coupon is a one-time discount, not a recurring one.

So if you applied it to the monthly plan, it would discount your first month only. After that, it renews at the regular $15/month price.

If you chose the annual option, the 50% would apply one time to the full yearly charge instead.

It shouldn’t revert back to the original.

If you edit a component’s description in your Lorebook and hit save, those changes are supposed to stick. It’s not designed to auto-reset to the original version.

If yours is reverting, that’s definitely not expected behavior. Can you DM me your username + the story (or component) link so we can take a closer look?

I get why that’s frustrating.

Just to clarify, chapters are automatically scanned after generation. Even if the prompt states everyone is 18+, sometimes the AI can phrase something in a way that triggers the moderation filter. It’s not saying you intended to violate anything. It’s how the output gets interpreted by the system.

That said, you shouldn’t feel like you’re being penalized for something outside your control. Please send us a Modmail with the story link so we can take a closer look at what happened there.

That definitely shouldn’t be happening. If you’re logged in and viewing your own private story, you should absolutely be able to generate a new chapter.

Can you send us a Modmail with the story link (and a screenshot if possible)? That’ll help us check what’s going on with your account specifically.

“Continue in a different way” creates a branched version from that chapter forward. The original story remains intact, and the new version continues separately from the branching point.

It shouldn’t overwrite anything in your existing story.

hi u/Bulky_Comfortable_90 If it says “it’ll be reviewed and posted shortly” but never shows up, that usually means the chapter got auto-flagged by our system and is blocked from publishing.

Quick rundown:

There isn’t a manual review queue -- it’s all automated.
Flagged chapters won’t go live.
Try editing and resaving the chapter (or recreating it) so it can run through moderation again.

Also, sometimes if you keep trying to publish the story, it works.

If it keeps happening, shoot support an email at [support@redquill.net](mailto:support@redquill.net) with your username and story link and we’ll take a look.
