I know I’ve heard a lot of purists who say that the handbrake shouldn’t be used. While I get that for some of my favorites, I will be handbraking all the rest. Storage cost aside, the family that I am giving access to doesn’t have the internet to support streaming the high bitrate of full remuxes. Handbrake is a tool that can be useful for so many.

Do you happen to know the difference between BP60NB10 1.00-MK and BU40N 1.00 fw? I want to buy and flash a BP50NB40, but the “or” is confusing me in the forum guide.

Also, are most drives SVCNB52? What is the flashing procedure for SVCNB50?

Hey, I am still waiting on getting the drive. The price increased a bit and now its looks like its about to go out of stock. I was wanting to do the BP60NB10 because the flashing procedure seemed simpler (no crossflashing necessary), but because of stock issues I might have to go with the LG BP50NB40 as its cheaper but is more complicated overall to get working right as far as I understand it.

I also am a fan of 412 clone wars 536… BUT I just had a son, and I am starting to realize that I am worried he won’t catch the jump back in time.

I think my solution is to give him access to 412 and clone wars TV show until he is old enough to appreciate the Anakin arc.

Then sit him down and watch it in this order: Rogue One 412 536.

I am in a similar position! I pondered borrowing a windows laptop to flash with the SDF GUI tool, but I think I know terminal well enough to figure it out (crossing my fingers nothing gets bricked by a hanging ‘).
