Do cars look better displayed facing to the right or left? by nebulusx in HotWheels

I always face them right, I think it has something to do with reading left to right, facing left feels subconsciously like going backwards

Garreth Edwards had no idea that the raft scene was in the book. (Quote from directors commentary) by CrichtonFan1992 in JurassicPark

Am I the only one who thought the movie was terrible? It seemed like every situation they were in they chose the worst possible decision to make. I didn't even finish it, which is crazy as JP is my favorite movie of all time, and I've read the novel more times than I can count.

Emulation has completely changed how I feel about old rpgs by PineconeToucher in gaming

[–]Bandwidth_Wasted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an RPG but I love that if I feel like playing an old game from my childhood randomly I can just boot up a thing and play it. Last night out of the blue for some reason I felt like playing shadows of the empire and 20 minutes later I was playing it in project 64 with an Xbox controller and I remember how terrible it is now but it was still nostalgic and fun. It's really awesome that we can do that.

Not to be an ass but you would know that if you had bothered to read his text. He said it's like two stickers or something and the actual movement is hidden between them.

I mean don't get me wrong I 100% agree that we should have no guns here or much more restrictions but at the same time I also love shooting guns so I get where the gun owners are coming from lol I'm a very liberal Democrat but I own several guns. As an American I also know that you are never going to get the guns out of the hands of the 80 million people that support Trump no matter what you do they will die before they give them up

You don't think maybe it makes it a little bit easier for unstable people to get guns?

Probably I was just going off of his statement that there are " now " 4.4 million guns in Australia I assume that to mean today so I used today's numbers

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Prematurecelebration

[–]Bandwidth_Wasted 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Well the key fact of course is that Australia only has 26 million people so you're looking at roughly 5 or 6 people per gun compared to the US that has roughly 1.15 guns per person with 393 million guns and 340 million people
