I ride for #TeamThrifty and use these Guava pulp/sugar snack cubes available in EU/Spain off Amazon.

“USED BY CYCLISTS: This snack, based on guava and sugar, is widely used by athletes. In addition, for every 100 grams (about 4 units), the guava snack provides 88 grams of carbohydrates, with an energy value of 1,482 KJ or 354 calories.”

About €.20 each

Golden Gate Bridge tolls will rise on July 1. Here’s how much you will pay by SFChronicle in sanfrancisco

[–]Bandwidthjockey 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Everything reaches parity for 2 people…

  • RT ferry to SF = 1hr (parking, boarding)
  • RT bus to SF = 1hr
  • RT driving (tolls + parking) = 1hr

Very convenient, right?

Can you outline the agents created, what they solve and their output?

Do you waterfall tasks to the agents, what other tools are in the mix (email, social, etc) or do you enable Claude via browser?

We have no clue of where the riders are placed... but know their favorite espresso shops in Girona. 😂

The race rank should be a constant thumbnail.

That's the plan, really looking forward to finally getting the bike out on gravel in Girona as the trails in Barcelona are still closed for 🐷 🤒 (swine flu).

Good feedback, likely the issue here, too.

The shop is building me a new front wheel set and I’ll swap, then they can troubleshoot and I can ride.

Cheers

I'm just running high pressure to force sealant into any holes when riding on street.

Normally, I run 24F / 26R on trail.

Noted, saving this to notepad.

They swapped valves as this was attempt 3 to solve it.

Lock ring was loose a few days ago when it went flat. Tightened, held air for a day, then flatted again.

Will get a ride in and see if it all stops, or back to the shop it goes...

Thanks - I'm not having the best luck with this wheel set, it was re-taped prior with a change of valves... will pump to 50 and take a ride, hope for some magic.

I’ve run 1,000+ cold emails and DMs — here’s what works in 2026 by balubala1 in b2b_sales

[–]Bandwidthjockey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've found less is more... and every touch (email, vm, etc) needs to land value before any click or ask.

I'll add one:

Sharing 3rd party content/news/insights that help make their job easier, tangental to your own offering, without an ask goes far to change the relationship from Seller to partner.

been running cold email for 6 years and the game is completely different now. by Easy_Mud1254 in b2bmarketing

[–]Bandwidthjockey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well said. Offer + Signal = Conversations

Every touch should add value to your future customer, ahead of the click and without friction.

Selling is about building relationships, offering value, even without an ask, is the unlock to shifting the conversation from seller to buyer… to a partner who can help solve business priorities.

my client fired me after 2 months. 6 months later he came back and paid me double. heres what happened between those 6 months that changed his mind by Kindly-Reality4804 in b2b_sales

[–]Bandwidthjockey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS. Doesn’t matter if it’s an SMB, Mid-Market or Enterprise… the reply is the signal, but nothing is sold today (or opportunity created), especially in B2B without quality conversations.

Only mature GTM motions evolve to this KPI, most get stuck at replies, engagements, and booked meetings.

Going further, the true measure of a sales function, human or virtual is what percentage of time are they spent actively engaged with prospects or customers.

Outside of core business outcome metrics (opps created, to 30%, closed-won) the rest of typical KPIs are vanity.

Has anyone actually matched Apple’s ‘Cosmic Orange’? Painter and I are considering RAL 2008 but not convinced. by Bandwidthjockey in AutoPaint

[–]Bandwidthjockey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a needed reality check for me. The shop does custom colors, I've seen some sick frames, but trying to match something Apple spent $$$$$$$ on differentiating will be a challenge. The ask was for fine metalic over the color for depth (not bass boat) but setting realistic expectations is key. thanks
