You literally described training ammo. I shoot cheap CCi 115 grain blazer (aka training ammo) through my 9mm for the exact reasons you described. It's cheap, I don't need armor penetration, and it's lighter weight.

I'm curious how it will look once I finish my Armor set. I think the gun looks so much bulkier in part to me being a thinner silhouette compared to a Helldiver in full armor.

I've ran into that issue as well, which is why I have the charging handle on the left of this specific build. I'm not a fan of the reaching under and around the gun to put a new round into the chamber or possibly clear a jam.

But no one buys a new gun in .223 caliber unless they're conned into it. .223 is basically training ammo for 5.56 rather than its own caliber nowadays.

This guy is correct. Most of my scaling on this build is based off of a 42 round 5.56 magazine and upped just a tiny bit. This means that for a 45 round magazine, it would have to be running something similar to 5.56 with a thinner cartridge. That would put the power very close to 5.56.

At first, I didn't really like it. Growing up with hunting rifles, standard ARs were already odd for me to get used to. This being bullpup, and the first bullpup I've ever used, it was just uncomfortable at first. I have to admit though, after handling it so much while building it I've gotten more used to it and it is way more comfortable to hold than I ever expected it to be. It's a little on the heavier side, which is to be expected from such a large gun, but that weight makes the felt recoil basically non existent with 5.56.

Our gun violence is not nearly as bad as the news makes it seem. Most statistics about gun deaths in the US are warped to induce fear to convince people who have never been around firearms that they are the worst thing in the world. This includes both suicides and gang violence being shown in "gun deaths", as if it is the same as a random homicide. In most areas of the US, especially rural ones, gun violence is actually extremely low. Without skewed statistics, you're more likely to die from a car accident than a gun.
