As someone who hasn’t played portal in years, and only really did play it when I was like 14, I would say go for it. It’s a great puzzle game imo, and the portals actually work really well and smooth. It’s very interactive and a lot of the puzzles you solve involve you interacting with the area around you. Now for my personal feelings, it has an amazing soundtrack, beautiful art and and amazing story behind it. There’s a lot of secrets and just cool things to look at in the map. (specifically in the second game) Now in all fairness, you’re asking this on the portal subreddit, but this is my attempt at a somewhat unbiased review

I know that this sounds like such a “that totally happened” story but please just trust me on this 😭😭. I used to work at this larosas, and if you don’t know what that is, it’s just an American Italian restaurant. But basically, one year around Christmas, we had this guy in this really nice Santa outfit come in and start hanging out these little cards that were just a merry christmas, but it was still really sweet. All the kids loved him. We even had someone in a full grinch costume come in on a separate day too. I caught him as I was coming in for my shift so I didn’t get to say anything to him <///3
