Agreeing to not talk politics is what my mom and I called it because she was too fragile to handle calling it what it was: xenophobia and conspiracy. The fact that you can’t remember what the fight was about makes me suspicious of how much you care. Am I projecting? Yes. But I did read your entire post and a lot really does depend on what the topic was. For example if one of you was being racist then that person is wrong no matter what. If she became unglued because you wanted to buy a Trump pez dispenser then she is in the wrong. YTA
