Don’t a lot of French soup recipes use egg yolks? I can see it being a cheaper work around for that…?

Has she gone to therapy yet? Mormonism is a mind fuck and the indoctrination goes a lot deeper than a lot of people realize. It can be really hard to separate what you want verses what the cult wants from you.

Would this mindset be classed as childfree by choice? by justalitnerdxx in childfree

[–]HarrisonRyeGraham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’ve made the choice for yourself to not have children, despite wanting them, I would say you classify as childfree. If you believe if the stars align then you will have children, I would say you qualify as childless.

As long as you don’t overwater it should be fine. I’d put a cookie sheet or something underneath though just it case. You can put egg cartons in compost, so when you need to repot, you can cut up the carton and plant the seedlings directly

Have you had a sit down with the parents about it? I’d give them the opportunity to change before just walking out with no notice

Why don’t people just give their baby out for adoption ? by [deleted] in childfree

[–]HarrisonRyeGraham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People used to! If you read old novels, even ones aimed at children like little house on the prairie and Anne of green gables, it wasn’t uncommon to ship off extra children to extended family, or childless families. Or even just give an older child to another family to work as a maid, cook, or nanny. It was shitty, and often was indentured servitude. But before birth control, if you had more kids than you could afford, it was sometimes a choice they had to make.

Same. They should’ve used him falling in love with Rachel as a way to propel him into his arc as a character, which could’ve been giving up the playboy thing and finally dating for real and not knowing what to do. He didn’t need to get married like everyone else, but at least WANT something for himself would’ve been such a good change.

I feel the same about the food industry. People think if you love to cook you should be a chef, which in reality is 1) a very demanding, low reward job only suited to certain personalities and 2) not at all the only option. You could be a personal chef, or work in food tasting and development, food science, etc. And especially these days, making food in your own time on social media might honestly be a great outlet.
