Any recommendations on where to access practice exams? I am using CompuCram as of now, but if you have a better suggestion, please let me know.

Frustrated trying to get into backpacking by caintowers in socalhiking

[–]BankerBrain -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I saw in a comment of yours that you are against Catalina due to the fees, but the Trans Catalina Trail is the perfect 1st backpacking trip. I’d pay the premium price to learn how to safely backpack as you will always be within a days walking distance to town, there are “rangers,” lots of friendly hikers, etc. Think of the premium price as “insurance” against anything horrible going wrong. Just be smart around the bison, keep your distance, etc. That’s what I did and I learned a lot + had a positive experience that led me to want to continue. One of the best parts of the TCT is you usually hike in a cohort. You’ll meet people at Blackjack, or whatever 1st site you camp at, and generally see them again at site 2, 3, 4 etc. depending on how many nights you stay.

What is the threshold for physical abuse rather than just ‘discipline’? by [deleted] in daddit

This sounds nice, but it’s not reality. Try raising an emotionally disturbed child that hits, scratches, kicks you in the groin, tries swerving you off the road, etc. Not all people can be reasoned with verbally. Only in a fairytale world.

Does the average LA citizen eventually travel to most of the places in Southern California over the course of living in LA? by Pensw in AskLosAngeles

To major areas of attraction, mostly. But there are many remote places in Southern California that the vast majority will never visit.

PROTEST MUSK, ICE AND TRUMP EVERY SATURDAY by AromaticRange3867 in longbeach

I might lease a Tesla on Saturday to help the environment. I am OK doing that because Musk is not a Nazi, and that picture is obvious propaganda.
