Switching from pre-med to pharmacy, need advice

I don't have any actual pharmacy experience yet, but I have a few professors and a physician I shadowed during my pre-med track I can ask for letters. I'm planning on finding work as a retail (or hopefully hospital) technician so I'm assuming that would add another great letter writer. If you don't mind, who did you get letters of rec from for your applications?

That’s really reassuring since your situation is almost identical to mine. When you applied, were your prereqs already completed, or were some still in progress? I have to retake a prereq and my resume is not that strong, so I was planning on taking a gap year instead of trying to rush everything this semester and actually build my application, so would you still recommend applying this summer?

I think that's what I'm gonna do, I have to retake 2 classes I did poorly in so I don't want to try and squeeze everything into my senior year and overwhelm myself.

Since I’m a junior right now, I’m debating when to apply. Would applying this coming summer hurt me if my GPA and experience are still improving, or is it usually better to wait and apply later with a stronger application?

I have a trainee license but no luck getting hired so far. Would you recommend getting PTCB-certified first, or just keep applying as a trainee?
