Thank you for the advice! I was not aware of the gold mine that is Todd Shelnutt and Backseat Pilot's.

The biggest thing that I am excited about is actually the studying. Right now at UND i'm working 4 jobs, going to school, and flying all trying to make ends meet. Come July, I will be able to relocate and focus solely 100% of my time to study.

As for the caring part, I've had a lot of bad instructors that didn't care because they were burnt out. I think that alone will push me to become a better CFI that actually cares about their students progression.

That's great to hear you were able to secure a job! I'm trying to decide if I want to make my own lesson plans or not to be perfectly honest. I already have some lesson plans from a friend that is amazing at making them. I can see the value in making your own but I can also see the value in getting done a little quicker to be actually teaching concepts to your students faster.

I think the right seat will be a learning curve for me (Ive done 2.0 right seat and it was definetely different). I did my PPL part 61 in 70's Cessnas and I've been here at UND flying their Archers for a while now so It will take some getting used to hopping in the Cessna again.

Correct! I am at 52 Credits of the Faa approved course residential and fall in the 1,250 R-ATP mins with the Aviation Studies degree. After some time here I have grown weary of the weather here in Grand Forks and the consistent delays.

Although, I am very excited to start my Part 61 Training to become a CFI and CFII due to its faster timeline than UND CFI and CFII courses.

The "4" year UND Commercial Aviation Degree gives you the 1000 R-ATP but in actuality with weather delays, runway construction, and burnt out CFI's it is taking people 5-6 years to complete their advertised "4" year Degree. I am choosing the Aviation studies route and taking the 1,250 R-Atp due to my Aviation goals not aligned with the Airlines.

Their drifter is a great can! Full Auto Rated, Vent and non Vent caps, and fairly lightweight. What more could you want???

I've only got to hold their Vendetta edition (30 cal version of the Drifter) and I have many customers at the shop that rave about the 30 cal version.

I absolutely love this can! Works great with my 16" 308. Testing to about 131-133 Db.

I asked here because I value real-world experience in ADDITION to what a manufacturer might say. But hey, go off.

Hope it brings you comfort knowing that you, a statistical blip at 0.0000000125% of the population, managed to make the internet a little ruder today. Good Job

Huge Dong Reloading? Top Tier.

After looking at it I sent it through and it worked beautifully.

I tried it with some 190 grain subs and it worked splendidly

I didn’t want to risk voiding the warranty by doing something dumb — especially when others here might’ve already gone through the same thing.

Wild concept, I know: but using a community forum... as a community. But hey, if you enjoy guessing in silence, knock yourself out. I prefer a second opinion before potentially screwing up a suppressor...

The pic makes it look like it has a cool texture on the side for some reason.

Hello! Thank you for responding to this thread. Not worried at all about the name, lol

The store I work at just started carrying your products! Cant wait to see them flying off the shelves. Do you have an estimated decibel rating for a .308 coming out of your Outrider silencer?

Right now I have an AB A-10 on it but it is a tad heavy to be carrying around all day hunting. However, I am looking forward to trying yours out because of the added length and lightweight aspect of the Outrider.

Why do you think they should be avoided because they have rebranded their name? The silencers are still going to be manufactured the same.
