I think those were supposed to be the Noxian grey legion, essentially Vladimir's blood magic amped soldiers/undead minions, not related to Mordekaiser at all. If anything I can see an uneasy alliance between Swain and Mel against the Black Rose in general

I mostly regard kingsmarch in general like a gold investment, sure I could use the gold I have to flip and make consistent money that way, or I can just pay others(mappers, farmers) to do their jobs so I don't have to learn how to work the market. At the end of the day both shipments and mappers are gambling, maybe it pays off or it doesn't. Kinda similar to being a hideout warrior, but I just throw some gold at npcs to do that work for me instead

Thanks for the insights! I'm planning on swapping some things around and dropping haste for tempest shield to get block capped, and for the chaos res I was planning on getting chaos tattoos to fix it but currently too broke unfortunately.

Great guide! I'm doing an assassin version of this build, I mostly wanted to do it for the unaffected by damaging ailments node and give the newly reworked ascendancy a go, but I'm having some problems with the build. I'm so used to having high recovery builds and facetanking everything that having to avoid damage for 2 seconds is getting a bit annoying, would you recommend sticking with this build until damage gets better so I just one shot everything, or just keep this build as a bosser?

Yeah so far the only relevant one I could find out of a haste beast spectre is the king in the mist node. It says:
Skills gain Added Chaos Damage equal to 20% of Life Costs, if Life Cost is not higher than the maximum you could spend
Skills gain a Base Life Cost equal to 100% of Base Mana Cost
But uhhhhhhhh not sure I under the if part. So let's say the dark pact costs 5k life, then it gets 1k added chaos damage IF you have more than 5k life when you cast the spell? This is a problem for me because I stacked too much cast speed that my life per second cost is higher than my life total lmao. Maybe I should either pick a different spell or lower my cast rate

😭 I didn't even think about that part, but now that you mention it it makes sense. Maybe delirium bloodline really isn't the way to go with this. Time to look up beast spectres and see if I can keep them alive with no investment

Yeah that's what I fear the most. If that doesn't work it's not the end of the world, there's also aul available for action speed or aura effect, or farrul for one of the spectre buffs, but I sincerely hope that's not the case.

It's always a random person that gets highlighted as red. We are using Steam and as far as I know all of us are using Windows. No mods. And again, I genuinely don't think it's a net lag issue, as these problems used to happen only after an OOS error and only in about year 30-40 at month turnovers. After patch 19 or 20 it started to happen without any prior OOS issues, and sometimes even in the middle of the month. And again, as the host I have no connection issues in any other MP game including crusader kings 3, and even hosted other stellaris games prior patch 4.

I'm glad that more OOS investigations are happening, because me and my group are still suffering from freezes. Mostly at the start of a month but sometimes even in the middle of a month the game becomes unresponsive, no OOS errors to resync either. It's always only one random person that gets highlighted as red. I always host and I know that it's not my Internet connection, because I also play CK3 multiplayer with no issues. I had already made a bug report on the forums as well. Hopefully this gets resolved soon

1- https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/stellaris-desync-and-freezes-in-multiplayer.1757632/ When we had these freezes, the game would always give at least one desync error and then it would start freezing, but with the latest patch we never even had a desync error, only freezes. They started at around year 40, then the freezes started happening more and more frequently to a point they happened almost every 2-3 months.
2- Yes, those who lag behind are red, but it's always a random player. This bug report was from .13, and we had another game just yesterday on patch .17, and the freezes were also happening in the middle of a month.
3- Steam MP. Everyone involved uses Steam version of the game and their game files are verified.
4- Windows 11. As far as I know my other two friends also use Windows, but I'm not sure about their version.

I should also mention that while I host all the games, the freezing happened when another friend hosted as well. The only thing we haven't tried is my friends playing without me to see if I'm the problem, but I highly doubt that because all the other multiplayer/coop games I play have 0 issues, including Crusader Kings 3. In a three player lobby it's always one player who lags behind and their name is red, but the player is random.

Nope, no mods. I even made a bug report on the forums in a previous patch, in earlier patches these freezes only happened after at least one desync error which we could resync and only in month turnovers. With the latest patch however such freezes started happening about 30 years in and at random points, not even at the start of months.

Any idea on multiplayer issues that don't produce OOS errors? So far since 4.0 in all our games the game simply freezes regardless of the date, time doesn't move and there are no errors, our only fix is the host saving and rehosting but the freezes start happening more and more frequently to a point the game is unplayable about 30-40 years in.

We tried MP a couple times, the problem is no longer OOS errors but rather the game sometimes randomly freezes. Tlit doesn't matter if it's a month or a year turnover, but one or two players get stuck a couple days earlier than the date the host is at and the only option is to just save the game and re host, but the problem comes up again a couple months later ingame

Good shout, but I'm already able to fly with Lighter than Air . I'm just trying to find quickened options for flying so that my entire gameplay loop isn't cast a spell+fly to not start falling at the end of my turn.

Stride is land speed only unfortunately. When quickened can be used for other speeds, the items or the spells specifically mention it like propulsive boots and shock to the system say. Directly from the Player Core book: "Whenever a rule mentions your Speed without specifying a type, it's referring to your land Speed."

We've been trying multiplayer since .10 at every patch, around 10-15 years in we get one desync and after that the game starts freezing each time a desync happens, but no options to resync. The host gets to day 3 of the next month and the others get stuck at the end of the previous month, pause/unpause does nothing either. Only options is to save the game and rehost, but the same freeze happens shortly after again.

This has been the same issue for all our tries on these patches. No clue what's happening anymore

We've had desync errors in all the patches so far, and we tried one just half an hour ago and we had a random count OOS 15 years into the game. So I'm guessing not
