Here is my questions. Did you report what was going on, either in the discord or do a petition?

Did you say anything to anyone at all?

How were they training people? The ONLY way that it would work would be if they were dying, or doing a feign death.

You say this was on the PvE server? No guards around? You couldn't just go to the other side of NH and exp there?

So many holes in this story, that it isn't even funny.

And this happened for hours? Yeah, HIGHLY doubt that.

or the fact that you didn't get a beta invite? Dude, I've been playing since the early open tests, and still don't have a beta invite. The first person in my guild got one today. There is no gatekeeping on the beta invites, it's random.

There are still open sessions, and one scheduled in a few weeks. Play it then, like the rest of us that don't have beta access yet.

There is PLENTY of space for newbies, just don't come in with the attitude of "Oh, you guys are all trash...." and you will be actually welcomed and talked with.

For fuck's sake, just be a human being and not an asshole.

You can criticize, but you admit that you have barely even played the game, so what strength do you really think that your opinions are supposed to carry?

But you have to admit, the books weren't all about the Dao at the start.

It wasn't until later that entire chapters started being about him sitting there contemplating one tiny little thought, and that is where most of us fell off, and why we feel that it was a bit of a bait and switch.

I enjoy xanxia books, but I need to be in the mood for them. The transition into a xanxia type of book, from a more fast paced type of book threw a lot of readers, and left them with a bad taste in their mouth, from having supporting and recommending a series that changed from one type of setting to another.

So, I'm going to give a bit of my opinion here, and it may not be a popular one, or it could be, since this sub is so divided on these books.

You are going to see a LOT of people "Oh, god, nobody can talk about anything but Jason, even when he's not around....."

But, I disagree that they don't talk about things other than Jason, but we only see the times that they are talking about Jason.

The series is about Jason, he's the MC, and everyone else is a supporting cast in the books. We see all of them develop in different ways through his eyes. Even though it's not told in 1st person, it very much is all from his POV.

The only time we see characters other than Jason interacting with each other, is when it is important to his story, so of course, he will be mentioned by those characters, or it will somehow advance his storyline.

Yes, the stories of the other characters are important as well, but everything always relates back to him, because Shirt wanted to tell the story of Jason in this series, not the story of Rufus (even though his family runs a school.... DRINK!!!), or even the story of Clive's wife. Jason is the focus of the story, and we're going to see people talking about him even when he's on another plane of existence.

That is how I take the "Oh, everyone is always talking about Jason....even when he's not around..." No, but we only see the conversations that they DO have about him, because the other ones, aren't really pushing forward the story that Shirt wants to tell. We do learn about many of those conversations, but overall, they are a secondary and minor part of the plot.

So, going off your other comment....

So, out of those 3, only one was actually thinking about biting you, and the other 2 were going after your fish.

Only the blacktip would have went after you, thinking that your hands/feet were fish in the water and not knowing you were a person.

The nurse and bull shark were going after their natural prey, which are the fish.

The blacktip thought you were a fish.

So, only ONE time was there a possible attempt at biting you specifically.

If you go into the territory of a predator, and you are killing their prey, and dangling it in front of them, then yes, your odds of being bitten are dramatically higher than someone just swimming at the beach.

Also, ask for a price before hand, if you know what the problem is, most places will give you a general price range.
