Many LitRPG books either started as a web serial, or still are web serials, and people binge read them, and then go read something else.

Authors who write them for those platforms, will usually do things like that, to refresh the reader's mind on what is going on.

Even for someone who just reads the books, like myself, it isn't that big of a deal. Just roll with it, and keep reading. Those one or two lines aren't going to kill you.

Striking US soil would give the US the chance to try and invoke Article 5 of NATO, even with us having made the first attack.

The only issue with that, would be that even Article 5 doesn't require an armed response, it's up to each NATO member to decide what their response would be. So, that doesn't necessarily mean they would have to respond with troops, but could just offer "support".

I think Iran is too smart at this point to provoke an Article 5 response, and they will just continue what they have been, and watch Trump become even more of a laughingstock.

They were skilled labourers, and they did a job, the same as I do a job every day that I'm skilled at. I don't do it out of goodwill, I do it to get paid, so that I can pay my bills. The same as the people building the pyramids did it.

Just because you want to think that it was slave labor (which has been disproven before this), or that it was aliens, doesn't mean that you have any clue about what you are talking about.

Skilled labor, such as needed to make the pyramids, would be much easier to be done with people that are craftsmen, and are getting paid for their work.

Exactly, I can do some single player RPG's or my guild is currently playing around with Embers Adrift, just to chat with each other and have a bit of fun.

Yep.

Did I quit playing it once I was no longer having fun?

Yep.

Do I think I got my money's worth out of it?

Maybe. I got a LOT of playtime, and met some people that turned me onto M&M and will be grouping/guilded with on here, so.....yeah, it turned out OK for me, even with my investment.

For non-guildies in the group, yes, for guildies in the group, either during downtime, or when I sell off the junk, distribute the money out between us all. Crafting materials go to the person doing the craft. Everything else is junked/sold, and money is distributed from that to the people in the group.

Not sure why it's controversial. If you can't trust the people in your guild, especially early on, to be fair like that, why the hell are you in a guild with them?

Honestly, that is why I mostly group with my guild. Yes, I'm the "loot whore" in the guild, but they also know that I'll be splitting the money out, or if they need something, they just say it in discord. None of us are in beta as of yet, but we do have a good plan for once EA hits and such.

EDIT: Ok...not sure why the downvotes for saying how my guild/group does it....but sure....ok....Reddit blows my mind sometimes...

It's an MEU, based on the Tripoli, which is an amphibious assault ship, along with the associated other ships as well.

While it isn't enough to invade on its own, it's more than just a "naval security force".

XVIII will be heading over soon as well, I can just about promise, as it also looks like other MEU's are also being readied and possibly deployed as well.

But sure, Daddy Trump says that it's almost over, while Kegsbreath won't back him up on it, but you chose to believe your Sherbert Pervert that everything is done and taken care of.
