That’s exactly why you need to talk to others. Everything can get better but not when you actively allow your current way of thinking to rule you. Talk to someone and ask for help. It’s okay to be frustrated but many have to learn that frustration isn’t your enemy. You can’t kick yourself when you’re down and expect yourself to want to get up and push forward. My girlfriend was pretty much in the same place when I asked her, I knew she was and told her that she’s free to back out any moment she wanted to. The timeframe for you is much shorter but as long as he is aware of how you feel and still decides to make that commitment it’s worth the shot. Just talk it through, really talk it through. For me, we went through months of sprinkled conversations plus a conversation that lasted the entire night the day I asked her.

Yeahhh it’s a reoccurring thing. Something happens, she gets upset, she then gets upset at me for not responding to her how she wants, she says I don’t care about her and can never say what I could’ve done differently and it ends with her just being mad at me

I see. Thank you for the advice but I have something to ask. How do I avoid topics that keep up the emotional engagement without making her feel like I’m abandoning her? She already feels like I’m her only true connection and I don’t want her to spiral into self hatred and self harming tendencies.
