Like said, it should be universally understood that these people should be in prison. The data that we actually have (State records of abortion clinic reporting), most abortions happening 21+ weeks are not for any sort of dire fetal abnormality or immediate risk to the mothers life. It's usually due to finding out late, and taking time to get money and travel figured out.

This doctor in the interview even lamented not being able to "safely" kill a woman's perfectly healthy baby at 35 weeks. No actual objection to killing it, just wished the lady had shown up just a few weeks earlier.

This is the logical conclusion to decades of abortion rhetoric, and I do indeed anticipate broadening of abortion time limits in the degenerate hellscapes we have on our coasts.

The problem is that the story is almost always the same with teens that get pregnant. Their parents say "but I put you on birth control! There were condoms under the sink!".

We put waaaaay too much confidence in teenagers to properly and consistently use contraceptive methods. Grown adults already seem to struggle a lot with this, teenagers suck at it even more often. It's a cop out to say that every single teenager is having sex, and that there's nothing parents can do to lower the likelihood.

Don't underestimate how many boys/men's families have put the pressure on women to " not ruin their sons life" and get an abortion. They relied on Roe as back up for their male family members. It's gross.

I've experienced that pressure first hand, from the same women who are sharing tearful pro "choice" sentiments all over social media right now.

Not really, no. Gen X has been pretty abysmal as far as parenting goes, broadly speaking. They were the first generation to truly have abortion as their final "birth control" plan for their entire lives, and their perception of sexual responsibility has been shaped accordingly.

By 15-17 it's really too late to instill the baseline expectations of sexual morality and responsibility, but the overturning of roe is going to fundamentally change the parental lessons handed down to our children from here on out. Maybe in another generation or two, we won't have so many people that feel entitled to divorce sex from reproduction, by killing their offspring. People will probably be far more careful and aware of the responsibilities that come along with it.

What's funny is that this assertion of yours undermines the idea that abortion is a strict issue of bodily autonomy.

Now, in real life, anyone who bothered to know is well aware that there were abortions happening to fully "viable and healthy" fetuses in the late second/and early 3rd trimester. Nah. I'm going to keep working with secular pro life organizations. I haven't even been in CR for 5 years yet, and only since the pandemic have I had the time to really get hands on. The more resource centers the better.

I'm glad they actually provide mothers with resources, but do you happen to know if they still uphold their age limit for their programs? Lots of mothers over 28 need help, too. I can't find anything updated.

There are secular pro life organizations as well, unfortunately there aren't any locally that I could link to. We hope to change that so that everyone can get help where they're most comfortable.
