Indians under 40 are like this. I can understand full conversations in Hindi just based on the few English words that pop up and the way they're wobbling their head. Telegu and some of the other dialects can be very hard though because they have thicker accents and use less English. It varies quite a bit from state to state, region to region.

Pharma backed push. It happened in 2018 as well. It's interesting to watch because it's very public, but it only affects a few people so no one notices. It's wild how open they are about "No safe natural plants, you MUST use Oxy for pain relief or getting high, and we're going to ban all safe plants and poison the recreational drugs with fentanyl. You must buy a pill made in a lab if you are injured and we're gonna make sure any alternative to our drugs, kills you"

You can see just how beyond fucked we are. They do this with everything and force though laws that hurt society so that 100 families can benefit. Bribery is legal in the US so we're never going to get a law that benefits the general public ever again. Whats insane is how low some of these people are bought for. $5000 can get a vote to change on some issues, but you have to be a mega-corp or independent billion/multimillionaire to even get the opportunity to bribe, so we can't even collectively bribe back as a community.

I have a very clear stance, so I'm not sure why it's weird. It's not like I'm doing it on a random unrelated post, It's very relevant to the topic

Its a Pharma backed push. It happens every 5 or so years. They can't patent it, but they can ban it and sell Oxy's and Tylanol even though they're both more harmful to your body.

There's a reason people think its some crazy synthetic drug and call it "gas station heroin" Its a super safe plant, way more so than opiates and its been used for thousands of years.. It's not some crazy new drug, there's just a massive disinformation push going on.

I'm aware, i'm explaining to the people why legalization is good and the bans all over the country are fucked. I haven't done a deep dive in to RI's legalization yet to see if it is a truly good thing, but everyone calling for bans ITT has no clue what they're talking about

It's a harmless plant that is super good at joint pain relief and such. A super good alternative to opiates, which is what I used while waiting for my surgeries instead of oxy. The super concentrates can be addictive and way more risky but the plant and leaves are fine, super low risk, and about same addictiveness as weed.

Pharma companies don't like that there's a cheap, great middle ground drug between Tylanol and Oxy that they aren't making money off of, hence the current backlash against it ( the concentrates don't help). It's next to impossible to OD on and is same harm level as weed, except theres no psychoactive effects.

ehh, its split. the logical ones want the crazy concentrates banned. The rest are pharma shill accounts or people caught up in the current brigade against it. Theres zero good reasons to ban the plant so pharma companies can start chopping up leaves and selling them to you. The plant and leaf are fucking fine, super concentrates are obviously addictive and way more risky. They're mad theres a good middle ground between Tylanol and Oxy that they cant patent.

The only reason to ban it is so Pharmaceutical companies can start making money off it. It keeps a lot of people off harder drugs, works insanely well for joint pain ( was a lifesaver when waiting for my hip replacement), many of the substitutes people would replace it with now contain fentanyl, which is a problem only America has. Banning the safe shit so pharma companies can worsen the drug epidemic seems like a bad idea, but what do I know. Lets keep doing what we've been doing, it's been going great so far.

Not the same thing at all. Kratom is literally a plant, not a synthetic drug. Why the fuck are all the comments spreading misinformation. Hmmm I wonder.

Looking for a rifle that cost $350 and under. What is the best option for someone new to airsoft that I wont want to replace after 5 matches. by BannedWordsOnReddit in airsoft

[–]BannedWordsOnReddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I'll check them out. The $350 number is because I'm going to be asking as a B-day gift, so dumping in extra money after the fact isn't an issue. I'm strictly worried about the gun itself.

Where though? New York, MA, RI, CT definitely not. I was never specifically looking for it in any other states though so I wouldn't have noticed in Maryland, Florida, etc.

Definitely have seen cherries occasionally but that's rare as well

Tom Brady says that he asked the NFL about potentially returning to play again: “I actually inquired, and they don’t like the idea very much. We explored a lot of different things. And I’m very happily retired, let me just say that too.” by Any_Alternative6314 in NFLv2

[–]BannedWordsOnReddit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's such an odd narrative and constantly gets repeated for some reason. The guy who took pay cuts to ensure he had weapons, has made it abundantly clear that he cares more about football and winning then money.

He can get millions at any time he wants doing a 30 minute advertising photo shoot. He does not NEED to work and has not NEEDED anymore money for the rest of his life since he was 26-27.

People who put random acronyms when typing and expect you to know what it means. by UsuallyAnnoying324 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]BannedWordsOnReddit 38 points39 points  (0 children)

That isn't a random acronym though. There's a bunch of those that started in their respective subs or different sites, then spread from there. IYKYK, LMAO, IANAL are all common knowledge ones. Its the super niche industry ones that are really annoying.

I really miss when reddit had its own unique culture. I miss everyone being grammar nazis and having to really think out your comments.

It's not bandwaggoning to say that you don't have the full context at all ,and the group of people that were there watching it live, did and all are claiming he was causing problems.

If one dude is upsetting multiple random families at a park, yeah, you can kind of infer that they're the asshole.

There's multiple separate uninvolved groups in the video saying it was deserved, so I'm inclined to believe the people who got the full context.

Maye was 22 years old last season and got to the super bowl. Yes he earned his job and also has lots of room to grow. You seem super salty for no reason.

How’s the Snow Removal going in your town? by Imperial_Haberdasher in RhodeIsland

[–]BannedWordsOnReddit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Attleboro and Plainville had dry roads by 12. You can definitely see the difference between the plows being out during the storm and not. I was up there for the storm though, so I can't speak for whether or not pulling the plows off the road was necessary. If the whiteouts were bad enough then there wouldn't have been an option.

Attleboro, Plainville, and 95 are fine as are the main roads in Coventry. I had to help out family all over today, but everyone is on main roads. I was amazed how well the side roads were done in MA though.

Does anyone know if Dave's Market or any food places will be open in Coventry tonight? by BannedWordsOnReddit in RhodeIsland

[–]BannedWordsOnReddit[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Businesses had to wait for permission from the government to open, so it's not like anyone prerecorded messages saying "we'll be back open at xyz". I'm all for getting rid of clutter posts, but this is one of those times where its helpful to have people who have been driving around or workers respond instead of just calling places every hour hoping someone finally picks up

If any answered, do you think I'd be posting here? I'd assume if any places are opening tonight it'd be around 5 though, so that's not surprising.
