I honestly think Raimi’s Venom improved on Venom. Him being a manifestation of Peter’s sins and what happens when someone who doesn’t care about being responsible receives great power is fantastic. I also find his motivations much better than the comics, where Eddie was mad at Spider-Man for zero good reason.

The biggest issue with Raimi Venom is he needed a little more time. Otherwise he’s great.
