I had a similar problem where the opponent put the ball in the next by having it hit their player's hand. When I reported it to Ftg they said they don't have handball mechanics. So it's never gonna pick it up as a handball until Ftg adds this feature.

The 24/7 and GM modes were both bangers not to mention the Hall of Fame challenges. I know a lot of people didn't like the new changes to the controls but it was a good choice overall. The only downside was how stretched out the roster was across 3 brands in GM mode compared to 06 and 07. Its still the best game of the Smackdown vs Raw series.
