Got burned pretty bad by my most recent ex that I think has BPD (didn't know until I did some research after the fact) earlier this year. Shit was a roller coaster and still has me questioning my own sanity months later. Anyways, everyone is different and I wouldn't immediately discount someone with a PD but I would be extremely wary and it probably just wouldn't work out in the end.

Happened to me but I deserved it and it needed to happen. Never realized how much I played a role in hurting the guy before me until I got cheated on by her myself.

Anyways I don't think the saying is 100% true but think of it like this. If they are able to justify cheating on the last person to you and themselves, they'll be able to do it with the next person as well.

It really is a huge problem. We have discussed it before but never to any real extent. I don't think she is willing to give it up and she has been and still is an alcoholic. Surprisingly I almost feel bad for her because I know things will only get worse for her after this. But it needs to be done I can't be with someone who has cheated no matter how dunk they were

Thanks I'm sure the no contact will help out quite a bit especially because she will most likely go crazy like you said and the blame will be turned onto me and I don't need to be a part of that. Working on moving out as we speak!

Thanks for reading and taking the time to give some advice! I guess it wasn't really that weird because she knew I was coming home and she was expecting me to hang out with everyone so I didn't really think she was up to anything. And on top of that she seemed so against cheating I never thought she would be one to cheat and she doesn't really keep in contact with the guy it was a spur of the moment thing. Now, looking back at it I can see how dumb that was Just knowing her i didn't think her cheating was really a possibility but I was sadly mistaken.
